NEW Zootopia Experience Coming to Animal Kingdom at Disney World

There are some exciting new additions in store for Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World. Disney recently announced more details of the Tropical Americas land featuring Indiana Jones and Encanto replacing DinoLand U.S.A., and there is also a new show that will be coming to the park!

Disney previously shared ideas of bringing a Zootopia or Moana-themed land to Animal Kingdom, revealing concept artwork of what this could look like, then at Destination D23 made a slight shift to this announcement revealing that Zootopia would be coming to Animal Kingdom as part of a new show.

We now have some more new details on this Zootopia-inspired experience coming to Walt Disney World. Keep reading for everything you need to know about the new Zootopia show at Animal Kingdom, including concept art and when it will open!

Name Reveal and Opening Details Revealed for Zootopia Show

At D23, Disney revealed that the new Zootopia show featuring Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and more Zootopia friends will be named “Zootopia: Better Zoogether!” The show, taking the audience on an adventure through the different biomes of the film, will open next winter in 2025. See the poster that was revealed for the show above! Disney has confirmed that this new date is still on track with the show!

New Zootopia Show Coming to Disney World

Disney shared that there will be a new Zootopia show coming to the Tree of Life at Animal Kingdom that will replace the current show “It's Tough to be a Bug!” Disney describes the current concept as “filled with humor and action, taking you into some of the different biomes you see in the film and some you have yet to see yet.”

We love the “It's Tough to be a Bug!” and the songs throughout, but the Zootopia addition here should be lots of fun.

Disney also shared that the show will feature characters from the movie like Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and more! They also shared that there will be an Officer Clawhauser figure that will come with the attraction. We can only hope this will match the version that will be present in the Zootopia land coming to Shanghai Disney. See that figure below.
