Someone with strong writing skills who will be dedicated to creating content about Disney to help our audiences plan their vacations to Disney, Universal, and beyond. These are the current open positions we have now on Mickey Visit along with their job requirements. The below positions will all begin as 1099 contract work but can grow dramatically. These are roles you can balance with other commitments in your life while covering a topic you are passionate about. This writing position will solely focus on writing new guides for Disneyland and keep them updated with the latest news from the parks. Knowledge of Disneyland is required, a frequent park goer is a plus as this could lead to opportunities to write dining/hotel/experience reviews.
Walt Disney World Correspondent
This writing position will solely focus on expanding our content for Walt Disney World and diving deeper into existing topics we've covered on the site. Knowledge of Walt Disney World is required, a frequent park goer is a plus as this could lead to opportunities to write dining/hotel/experience reviews.
Disney Vacation Club Correspondent
This writing position is for someone that is a Disney Vacation Club member that can create content to cover every detail of the program based on their experience as an owner. This position would also include hotel reviews of DVC stays along with personal experience recommendations. A plus if you have previously researched or thought about renting the DVC property.
The news editor would be responsible for timely updates to the website when news from the Disney Parks is released, 3x weekly creation of an email newsletter and social media content creation. The news editor would collaborate with the other editors of the website to get the news out in a timely manner and flexible availability is a must for this position as news drops from Disney can come at a moment's notice. The news never sleeps.
Universal Orlando Correspondent
This writing position will solely focus on expanding our content for Universal Orlando and diving deeper into existing topics we've covered on the site. Knowledge of Universal Orlando is required, a frequent park goer is a plus as this could lead to opportunities to write dining/hotel/experience reviews.
