What is happening right now at Disneyland?

Disneyland is currently preparing to enter a phase of major expansion after the approval of DisneylandForward, a development plan that opens up new possibilities for growth in Anaheim.

While bigger projects and expansions introducing new rides and experiences are in the works, Disneyland also consistently offers limited-time special events and seasonal offerings throughout the year.

There have been some exciting new additions and reimaginings that have recently opened at Disneyland. Here are some that have recently opened:

• Tiana's Bayou Adventure, a reimagining of Splash Mountain themed to Disney's The Princess and the Frog, recently opened in Disneyland Park. With the opening of the ride, the land was rechristened into Bayou Country. You can see more details on Tiana's Bayou Adventure here.
• The Haunted Mansion recently introduced an expanded outdoor queue and new retail shop. You can see details about the Haunted Mansion expansion here.
• Some new scenes were added to Star Tours, introducing new additions inspired by the Disney+ series Ahsoka, The Mandalorian, and Andor. You can see details about these new Star Tours scenes here.

There are also some major new rides and expansions in progress right now. Here are some of the projects coming to Disneyland that are in the works:

• Two new rides are coming to Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure! This will include a major new e-ticket Avengers ride and a unique new ride themed to Iron Man.
• A new Avatar land coming to Disney California Adventure, based on Avatar: The Way of Water and upcoming Avatar films, will introduce a new Avatar attraction. 
• A new Coco ride is coming to Disney California Adventure! On this boat ride, guests will join Miguel on a trip to the Land of the Dead. See everything we know about the Coco ride at Disneyland here.
•  A new storyline is coming to the Millennium Falcon in Galaxy's Edge! This new mission will feature the Mandalorian and Grogu and will debut when the upcoming feature film The Mandalorian and Grogu comes to theaters.
