We already knew some form of Avatar is coming to Disneyland from previously released concept art but now we have the finalized details including the theme of the land.

Pandora Coming to Disney California Adventure
Pandora is confirmed as coming to Disney California Adventure. This new land will be inspired by the second movie, “Avatar- The Way of Water,” and will also take inspiration from the upcoming “Fire and Ash” third film along with future Avatar films.
Disney promises this new land will be on a scale and level that is “worthy of these epic stories.”

Disney Calls Avatar Ride Innovative and Thrilling
The land will also debut a brand new “innovative” attraction that will bring Avatar to life in a new and thrilling way. The new ride invites guests to take the “adventure of a lifetime” looking for natural wonders in Pandora including forests, animals, and more.

New Models Revealed for Avatar Experience at Disneyland
After the Disney Experiences showcase, models of the land were revealed in the D23 Imagineering: Behind the Dreams pavilion.
What's particularly cool about this display is that we get to see a little more of the creative process in progress with these model elements.
