D23 Expo 2024 Schedule ANNOUNCED! All Announced Events

New details for the schedule for D23, which will be taking place later this summer, have been shared! D23 is the biggest Disney fan convention in the world celebrating all things Disney that is held every two years. At D23, major news is shared about upcoming projects at Disney Parks, and the event features several presentations, panels, and exhibitions for fans.

D23 takes place on August 9, 10, and 11, 2024. This year's event has been reimagined to be more expansive than ever before and will feature some major new experiences like D23 Day at Angel Stadium and D23 Day at the Disneyland Resort.

D23 2024 Events Schedule

D23 this year will feature an entire week of events, including a D23 Day at Angel Stadium, D23 Day at Disneyland Resort, special programming at the Honda Center, the most expansive show floor in D23 history at the Anaheim Convention Center, and an expansive sweepstakes. Below, we will share the details that have been released so far for D23!

D23 Day at Angel Stadium

The first D23 Day at Angel Stadium will take place on Sunday, August 4, and the first 23,000 fans through the gate will receive a commemorative D23 Mickey Mouse bobblehead.

By purchasing tickets through this link, D23 members can access reserved discounted-seating tickets for the Los Angeles Angels vs. New York Mets game at Angel Stadium on August 4 and a D23 commemorative gift. 

D23 Day at Disneyland Resort

The first-ever D23 Day at Disneyland Resort will take place on August 8, featuring offerings including a custom cavalcade and a dance party at Disneyland Park, as well as special photo opportunities, specialty foods, themed merchandise, and more at both parks.

There will also be a Disney Junior celebration at Disney California Adventure on August 8 for preschoolers and their families to enjoy as part of D23 Day at Disneyland Resort. Disney Junior festivities will take place from Friday, August 9, through Sunday, August 11, at Downtown Disney.

From Sunday, August 4, through Sunday, August 11 at Downtown Disney, guests will be able to enjoy special offers, décor, and magical moments.

Honda Center Programming

Some of the programming for D23 will be held at the Honda Center, and the larger capacity of the new venue this year will allow for D23 to put on a bigger show for a bigger audience. The Honda Center will host three nights of marquee showcases:

• The Disney Entertainment Showcase will take place on Friday August 9 at 7 pm, giving fans an exclusive look at beloved movies, series, and stage shows and a look at what is next
• Disney Experiences will take place on Saturday August 10 at 7 pm and will feature the latest news on projects in development for Disney Parks, experiences, and beyond around the world
• The 2024 class of Disney Legends will be celebrated on Sunday August 11 at 5 pm, hosted by Ryan Seacrest. The Walt Disney Archives is honoring Colleen Atwood, Angela Bassett, Martha Blanding, James L. Brooks, James Cameron, Jamie Lee Curtis, Miley Cyrus, Steve Ditko, Harrison Ford, Mark Henn, Frank Oz, Kelly Ripa, Joe Rohde, and John Williams this year. 

Show Floor at the Anaheim Convention Center

At the Anaheim Convention Center, fans can enjoy the most expansive show floor in D23 history with experiences and activities to explore. Fan-favorites will be returning, including pavilions from Pixar, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Disney+, Marvel Studios, Disney Experiences, Lucasfilm, and an all-new exhibition from the Walt Disney Archives entitled “A Great Big Beautiful Car Show.”

Fans can explore shopping opportunities with a dedicated space to shop and experience limited-edition merchandise and collectibles. Favorite shopping destinations will return including Mickey’s of Glendale, The Hollywood Studio Store, and The Emporium, and The Walt Disney Company Store will debut and feature exclusive D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event branded products. 

Fans will also be able to attend shows, panels, and presentations, along with conversations with storytellers, creators, and talent. These presentations featuring Disney content will take place on five different stages at the Anaheim Convention Center.

Fans will have the opportunity to enter one of the most expansive sweepstakes in Disney history.
