Disney has just shared news of the first-ever Coco ride coming to a Disney Park!
We are reporting from D23 with all of the latest announcements from the Disney Experiences Showcase with news on ongoing and upcoming projects for the Disney Parks, Disney Cruise Line, and more. At D23, Disney introduced the announcement with a musical performance from Ernesto de la Cruz from Coco.

Coco Ride Coming to Disney Park

Disney has announced at D23 that there will be a new Coco ride coming to Disney California Adventure. Disney shared that the Coco ride will highlight Miguel's journey to the Land of the Dead and will be told through expansive, colorful scenes.
Disney will be drawing inspiration from classic attractions like Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean for the ride. The ride will feature the latest in audio-animatronics technology. “We’re bringing our skeletal cast of characters to life in a big way through the latest Audio-Animatronics technology,” Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro said. “These figures will appear in ways you’ll have to see to believe.”
Work for the ride is underway, and it will be breaking ground in 2026. The new Disney California Adventure ride will be a celebration of everything about Coco! Disney also shared that music will play an important role in attraction. See a closer look at the concept art for the ride below!

It would be nice if we could get Frozen land or a frozen ride in Disneyland or California adventure. Like other parks have.
We totally agree! This one is super exciting too though. If I had to pick between the two I would definitely pick this new Coco offering.
