The Disneyland Resort area offers nearly 50 Good Neighbor Hotels for guests to choose from if they wish to stay close to Disneyland for less cost than the Disney owned hotels. A Good Neighbor Hotel is an honor bestowed by the Disneyland Resort to recognize the very best hotels in the surrounding area.
Families with toddlers and young children have different requests while staying at hotels. I’ve compiled a list of some of the best recommended Good Neighbor Hotels specifically for kids. From free breakfasts, easy park accessibility, and even some water slides to rival Splash Mountain, these hotels are worth checking out.
The hotels are in alphabetical order as not to show any preference, and all listed are three-star rated. The rating is not an indicator for guest reviews. Instead, it reflects what that particular establishment has to offer guests from affordability to amenities.

The Anaheim Camelot Inn and Suites sits almost directly across from the resort entrance on Harbor Boulevard. This family-friendly establishment is full-service, non-smoking with the charm of an English country manor.
The amenities include flat-screen TVs, refrigerators and microwaves, pool and laundry facilities. While most of the other hotels also offer the same extras, the big draw for staying at this Disney Good Neighbor Hotel is the direct view of the Disneyland fireworks. Kids can enjoy the dazzling spectacle then pop into bed right after! Although there are no dining facilities on site, McDonalds is right next door and Mimi’s Café within walking distance.
