Disney just made some big announcements regarding experiences coming to Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World! We are reporting from the Destination D23 event in Orlando, Florida with news on some major additions coming to Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World and more huge announcements for Disney Parks.
Disney has announced that two new Magic Kingdom experiences will be coming to Disney World, including updates to a favorite show, a new Pirates of the Caribbean experience, and more details on a new character coming to the Haunted Mansion.

Country Bear Jamboree Getting NEW Songs and Act
Disney Imagineer Chris Beatty shared that when the show debuts in 2024, the bears will be performing favorite Disney songs in new genres of country music, like rockabilly, bluegrass, pop-country and more! Imagineers say that this new take will be an homage to the classic musical revues in Nashville, and they're working with Nashville musicians to make sure they are nailing the authentic country sound.
They shared a video of the group recording “Bare Necessities” from Jungle Book as an example of a new song going into the show.

The show will still feature the same favorite characters like Trixie, Big Al, and others, and it will keep its fun essence, but these new acts will refresh the show and provide some exciting changes for audiences to enjoy!
New Pirates of the Caribbean Lounge Coming to Magic Kingdom
Disney also announced that a new Pirates of the Caribbean Lounge will be coming to Adventureland in Magic Kingdom! Imagineers are currently in the design process of this first-of-its kind experience, so more details will be coming in the future.
This will be a fantastic new addition to Magic Kingdom, and I can easily see the theming being super fun and successful as an extension of such an iconic, not-to-miss Disneyland ride. You can see the concept artwork above that Disney has released for this new lounge!
OPENING Revealed For Hatbox Ghost Coming to Haunted Mansion
Disney has also given us an idea of when we can expect to see the Hatbox Ghost at the Haunted Mansion! At the Destination D23 event, it was shared that the Hatbox Ghost will make his debut at the Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom in late November. You can expect to see the Hatbox Ghost soon on the ride as he will be “materializing in the Haunted Mansion as you pass the attraction’s Endless Hallway.”
