Dole Whips are the most iconic Walt Disney World treat and are often the most well-known. Most first time guests will want to know where to find Dole Whips and which are the best ranked! 

When it comes to snacks, there is no shortage at Walt Disney World. From savory bites to sweet desserts, the snack options are never-ending. Menus change frequently and new snacks arrive all the time. Whether it's for holidays, special events, celebrations, or seasonal changes, snacks are a big part of the experience. Different flavors, colors, and themes are always being experimented with. Of course, there are the classics like Mickey Waffles, Churros, Mickey Pretzels, Popcorn, Mickey Premium Bars, and Mickey Ice Cream Sandwiches. The most popular snack, however, is undoubtedly Dole Whip.

I visit Walt Disney World frequently and I have had Dole Whip MANY times. In this article, I will go through all of the different Dole Whips ranked that are currently available at Walt Disney World Resort. Keep reading for our full list of Dole Whips ranked!

Dole Whips Ranked

Dole Whip is a dairy-free soft serve ice cream. This sweet treat is exceptionally creamy, not overly sweet, and extremely delightful. (Especially on a hot day at Walt Disney World!) The original, and most popular, flavor is pineapple. However, over time, many more flavors have become available. New flavors and flavor combinations still come out frequently!

Many locations around Walt Disney World sell this delicious treat. We're going to explore ALL of the different Dole Whip options that are available as well as where you can get them and their rank.

Dole Whips Ranked

There are multiple different ways that we could rank these Dole Whips. Of course, any time there's a ranking, it's very much up to personal preference. It's also difficult since there are so many different types of Dole Whips and we get new versions all the time! Due to that, I'm going to create a few categories and then pick a winning Dole Whip for each one.

Most Popular Dole Whip Flavor

Pineapple – The original flavor has been a favorite of Disney Guests since it first came to Magic Kingdom Park. Over the years, its popularity has not died down. This classic treat is so popular, that Disney has even made merchandise inspired by it. From phone cases to shirts, keychains, and even candles! Disney goers can't get enough of this pineapple treat.

Best Place to get Dole Whip

Swirls on the Water (Disney Springs) – With their ever-changing menu, exotic flavors, and alcoholic options, Swirls on the Water is one of the best places to get Dole Whip. Their Dole Whip Samplers (sometimes called Dole Whip Flights) are a great way to try multiple flavors at once!

Storybook Treats (Magic Kingdom) – Another location that provides a wide variety of Dole Whips is Storybook Treats.  One of my favorite menu varieties here was when they had a Snow White Cone and a Cone for each of the Seven Dwarfs! While the Snow White Cone was Lemon Dole Whip, there were multiple varieties of flavors and flavor combinations used for the Seven Dwarf cones.

My Favorite Dole Whip

Out of all of the different Dole Whips that I've tried, I have two favorites. Both of them came from Disney Springs. Unfortunately, neither one is currently available at the moment.

Dole Whip Nachos (Marketplace Snacks) – This dish is made with Waffle Cone “Chips”, Pineapple Swirl Dole Whip, Mango Boba Pearls, Fresh Pineapple, Strawberry Sauce, Whipped Cream, and Rainbow Sprinkles.

50th Anniversary Celebration Cone (Swirls on the Water) – This cone was a Dole Whip Lemon and Cookie Dough Soft-serve swirl in a cone with EARidescent sprinkles and a Chocolate Mickey Topper. (When I got my cone they were out of the Mickey Topper.)

Most Refreshing Dole Whip

Dole Whip Floats are very refreshing! You not only get the delicious, sweet, and creamy coolness from the Dole Whip itself, but you also get the additional beverage that's in the float. No matter which Dole Whip Float you choose, it's sure to keep you cool in the Florida heat.

Adult Favorites

When you're really wanting to kick back and enjoy yourself, you can't go wrong with a boozy Dole Whip! Your specific alcoholic Dole Whip treat will depend on your drink of choice, but there are plenty of options around Walt Disney World!

Magic Kingdom Dole Whips

Dole Whip first debuted at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World in 1984. It has been a crowd favorite ever since making it one of the top-ranked Dole Whips.

Sunshine Tree Terrace

While Aloha Isle mostly features Pineapple Dole Whip, at Sunshine Tree Terrace, Orange Dole Whip is the main focus. Our friend Orange Bird fits in perfectly here. Currently, you can even get an Orange Bird sipper!

Storybook Treats

Storybook Treats is one location where the Dole Whip items on the menu are regularly changing. Currently, there are two offerings.

• Aurora Cone – $6.29
  • Dole Whip Strawberry and Blue Soft-serve topped with White Chocolate Crisp Pearls in a Sugar Cone
• Rapunzel Sundae – $7.79
  • Shortcake with Wild Berry Soft-serve and Dole Whip Lemon topped with Berry Compote and Sugar Flowers

EPCOT Dole Whips

EPCOT has a variety of different Dole Whips ranked to select from and that may change depending on the festival offered. 

Refreshment Outpost

Normally, you would be able to order a Pineapple Dole Whip or a Pineapple Dole Whip Swirl at this location. Sometimes they will even feature more unique flavors such as Tangerine, Cherry, and Coconut. However, at EPCOT, the festivals often dictate the menus. Currently there is only one Dole Whip option available due to the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.

• Raspberry Dole Whip – $6.50

Festival Exclusive Locations

There are two more locations that have offered Dole Whip at EPCOT, but ONLY during certain festivals. Both of these locations served Pineapple Dole Whip.

• Hawai'i Booth at EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival
• Pineapple Promenade Booth at EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival

Hollywood Studios Dole Whips

Generally, Hollywood Studios is the only Disney Park where you CAN'T get Dole Whip. However, over the summer, Guests were delighted to have Dole Whip in the park in celebration of the movie, Elemental.
