How to Use Mobile Ordering at Disney World

So now that you know where to find Mobile Ordering at Disney World, the next step is to figure out HOW to use it! The service is quick and easy- all you need to do is download the My Experience app and you're good to go. Here is our step to step guide on how to use Mobile Ordering at Disney World so you can maximize your time.

Step One: Choose Your Restaurant and Arrival Time with the App

The first step is to download the My Experience app on your phone. The app is free, easy to use, and is really a crucial part to your Disney World vacation. I recommend downloading it in advance and becoming familiar with it prior to your visit. Disney does offer free Wi-Fi but the service can be hit or miss. Make sure you're prepared for that!

Look for the + icon at the bottom of the main screen of the app- click it and it will bring up the menu you see below:

Click on ‘Order Food' and this will take you the list of restaurants that offer Mobile Ordering at Disney World organized by theme park. Now you are brought to a new screen that allows you to choose a restaurant that offers Mobile Ordering:

Now select the restaurant of your choice! Pay attention to the return time at the top- it will tell you the range of time you can come pick up your food.

Step Two: Pick Your Food and Place Your Order!

Your next step is to pick your food! The app does have the option of adding changes or allergy notes which is a good addition.

Tap the food items you want to start building your order.

You will also be able to customize your order, add extra cheese, remove things, etc.

Once you're finished with your order, you will be taken to the order summary page where you can review your order and the cost. You can also opt to use your dining plan too.

If everything looks good, just tap ‘Review Order Summary' and you'll be taken to the payment screen to complete the purchase. Make sure that you have a credit/debit card linked to your Disney account otherwise the app will prompt you to add one. At this time, you can't use Disney gift cards for Mobile Ordering at Disney World so keep that in mind!

Step Three: Picking Up Your Order

So now you're ready for the final step- picking up your food! Once you arrive at the restaurant, pull up the My Experience app, and tap on the ‘I'm Here, Prepare My Order' prompt that will show up on your home screen.

Don't worry, your order won't be created until you arrive and tap the button. No worries about lukewarm food!

You will be able to clearly see the sign for Mobile Ordering at every restaurant that offers it. When your order is ready you will go up to the counter and get it. Easy peasy.

You can also cancel a Mobile Order or change the arrival window easily through the app so if you get held up or change your mind- no worries!
