Where Can You Spend Disney Gift Cards?

Disney Cruise Line Disney Dream

Unlike gift cards for most retail locations, Disney gift cards are able to be used at multiple locations within the Disney realm, not just one particular store. This is great news considering that most of the beloved Disney Store locations have been closed. If you’ve received a Disney gift card or have gifted one to someone else, rest assured that there is plenty of opportunity for the card to be used!

One perk of Disney gift cards is that they can be spent during Disney vacations. Gift cards can be used at locations throughout Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, Disney’s Vero Beach Resort, Disney’s Hilton Head Resort, and Disney on Broadway. If a Disney trip isn’t in the plans for the near future, that’s ok! Disney gift cards have multiple uses at home too! Of course, if you do still have a physical Disney Store near you, your Disney gift card can be used there. This also includes the Disney Outlet Stores! Your Disney gift card can also be used to shop online at DisneyStore.com or they can be used towards a Disney+ or Disney Bundle subscription.

What Can You Purchase With Disney Gift Cards?

Besides having multiple locations where you can use your Disney gift card, there are also multiple things that you can spend your gift card on!

Combining Disney Gift Cards

The main reason for combining Disney gift cards is convenience. Whether you’ve received multiple cards as gifts or you’ve purchased multiple cards to use towards your vacation, it’s much more convenient if you don’t have a large amount of cards. You can manage all of your Disney gift cards online at DisneyGiftCard.com. From the My Cards page, you’ll be able to check balances, transfer funds, and see your transaction history. On this page, you’ll be able to manage six cards at once. This makes it incredibly easy if you’re managing cards for multiple people in your family!

How to Combine Your Gift Cards

To combine your Disney gift cards, you’ll need to head to DisneyGiftCard.com. Once you’re there, you will then need to click on the “My Cards” tab at the top. After doing this, you will be prompted to log into your Disney account. If you don’t already have an account, you will need to make one.

Once you are logged in, you will then be able to add your Disney gift cards. To add the card, you will be required to add a Nickname for the card, the card number, and the security code. After you add multiple cards to the site, you’ll have the option to transfer balances from one card to another.

That's it! Once the balances are transferred, your cards have officially been combined.

Keep in mind that you will need to keep the card that you’re transferring the balances to. Since this is not a mobile wallet, you will still need that card in order to make purchases. You will, however, be able to discard the cards that no longer have any funds on them.

It’s so nice that Disney has this option available for their gift cards. I’ve had plenty of my own personal experiences with multiple gift cards and I know others have as well. This is a great way to make things easier for people. As I mentioned earlier, I found out not too long ago about this ability to combine cards. I will without a doubt be doing this from now on whenever I have multiple Disney gift cards at one time. Will you be combining yours too?
