
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is a lakeside hotel that’s taken inspiration from New England-style yacht clubs. A nautical ambiance is present throughout the entire resort – from the decor, to the recreation, all the way to the menu items at the restaurants. Guests can head out on the waters for their own nautical experience by renting watercraft from the on-property Marina.
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort shares many amenities with its sister resort, Disney’s Beach Club, giving Guests even more opportunities to enjoy lake life during their vacation.

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort Room Types
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort has a total of 635 rooms, which include standard rooms, club-level rooms, and club-level suites. All room types come with the standard Walt Disney World Resort hotel amenities and recreation options. However, the different room types are also equipped with their own unique set of amenities.
Standard Rooms include a coffee maker, hairdryer, in-room safe, iron and ironing board, beverage cooler, and telephone with voicemail.
In addition to these amenities, Club Level Rooms and Suites also include Club Level Concierge (Regatta Club), complementary health club access, and secured key access to the club-level lounge. Refreshments are served in the lounge each day from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
Suites are also equipped with a mini refrigerator instead of a beverage cooler.
Besides the different room types, there are also different views to choose from.
- Resort View rooms have views of the garden, rooftop, or parking area.
- Water View rooms have views of Crescent Lake, Stormalong Bay, and the Quiet Pool.
Average Cost of Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
The cost to stay at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is based on a number of factors. Room rates vary depending on room type, view, and the time of year the visit is taking place.
- Standard Rooms range from $622 per night for a Resort View room to $1,215 for a Water View room.
- Club Level Rooms start at $873 per night for a Resort View room and go as high as $1,720 per night for a Water View room.

One Unique Thing
One of the most unique things about Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is its impressive pool area – Stormalong Bay. This area covers a total of three acres and has something for everyone to enjoy. You’ll know you’re in the right place when you spot the life-size shipwreck.
Stormalong Bay is equipped with a main pool, lazy river, kiddie pool, whirlpool spas, and waterslides. This is also the location of one of the tallest waterslides on Walt Disney World property.

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort has a variety of dining options, including quick-service meals and snacks, pool bars, full-service restaurants, character dining, and specialty desserts.
- Ale & Compass Lounge – This cozy lounge offers an extensive list of wines, cocktails, beers, and high-end liquors. Light bites are also available.
- Ale & Compass Restaurant – Ale & Compass Restaurant is a gastropub-inspired eatery. It’s well-known for its New England comfort food, classic seafood dishes, and cozy lighthouse charm.
- Beach Club Marketplace – At Beach Club Marketplace, Guests can pick up a warm meal, light bites, or snacks. This quick-service location is open for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
- Beaches & Cream Soda Shop – This 50’s-themed eatery offers old-fashioned ice cream options as well as grilled food items to dine on.
- Cape May Cafe – In the morning, Guests can choose delicious foods from the breakfast buffet, while enjoying visits from Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Daisy in their adorable beach outfits. In the afternoon and evening, the menu switches over to seafood and surf and turf dishes.
- Crew’s Cup Lounge – Stop by Crew’s Cup Lounge to enjoy a beer, wine, or cocktail.
- Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside Bar & Grill – Located near Stormalong Bay, this walk-up bar offers cocktails, draft beers, and frozen drinks. Hot foods and salads are also available.
- The Market at Ale & Compass – This quick-service location offers hot and cold grab-and-go options for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
- Martha’s Vineyard – With the ambiance of a New England beach house, this lounge has a full bar menu available as well as appetizers.
- Yachtsman Steakhouse – This New England-style steakhouse brings fine dining to Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. Premium steaks, fresh seafood, delightful sides, and tasty desserts can all be found on the menu at this nautical restaurant.

Those wanting to visit other Walt Disney World Resort hotels can do so by taking a bus to Disney Springs and then transferring to the bus for the desired resort.
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort Pools
Guests of Disney’s Yacht Club can enjoy water fun in an expansive pool area or relax in one of the three nearby leisure pools.
Stormalong Bay is a 3-acre, 750,000-gallon pool area at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. At Stormalong Bay, Guests can enjoy a lazy river, sand-bottomed pool, 3 whirlpool spas, and an elevated tanning deck. Little ones can cool off at Shipwreck Pool, which features a mini waterslide!
For a more calming experience, Guests can make their way to the relaxing leisure pools. One of these is located in the garden area of Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. The other two are located nearby at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. One of the Beach Club leisure pools is also located in a garden area, while the other is located near the Beach Club Villas.
