Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Room Types

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge has a total of 728 rooms, which includes standard rooms, suites, club-level rooms and suites, deluxe studios, villas, and cabins. Each of these available room types comes equipped with amenities such as pools, dining, recreation, transportation, and Early Theme Park Entry. In addition to these standard Walt Disney World Resort hotel amenities, there are amenities that are unique to each room type.

Standard Rooms and Suites sleep up to 4 adults and are equipped with a beverage cooler, coffee maker, coffee and tea setup, flat-panel TV, hairdryer, in-room safe, iron and ironing board, pool towels, patio or balcony, a telephone with voicemail, and bathroom amenities. Along with all of these amenities, Standard Rooms and Suites with Club Level Service also include complimentary health club access and secured key access to the club-level lounge. Refreshments are served at the lounge each day from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Deluxe Studios sleeps up to 5 adults with the included sleeper sofa, which is an addition to the one queen bed and one pull-down bed. Deluxe Studios also features a kitchenette. Kitchenettes include a microwave, paper plates and bowls, plastic utensils, a small refrigerator, and a toaster.

Cabins and Villas both offer spacious living and dining areas, separate bedrooms, full kitchens, and a washer and dryer. Cabins can sleep up to 8 adults while Deluxe Studios sleep up to 12. The full kitchens include dishes, glasses, utensils, a microwave, pots, pans, a full-sized refrigerator, a stove, an oven, and a toaster.

Cabins also have a dining room table with chairs and a high chair. Additional Cabin amenities include a built-in hot tub on the deck, flat-panel TVs in the living room and each bedroom, a screened-in porch, and a double-sided fireplace.

Within these different room types, there are also different views to choose from.

  • Resort View rooms have views of the landscape, trees, rooftop, parking areas, woodlands, courtyard, pool, waterfall, Bay Lake, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, or Boulder Creek Villas.
  • Water View rooms have views of the pool, waterfall, Bay Lake, or Copper Creek.
  • Fireworks View rooms have views of landscape, Copper Creek Villas & Cabins, and partial views of Magic Kingdom.
  • Cabins have views of Bay Lake.

Average Cost of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

The average cost of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge varies depending on room type, view, and what time of year you’ll be visiting.

  • Standard Rooms with a Resort View start at $546 per night and can go as high as $1,252 per night for a Fireworks View room with a King Bed.
  • Club Level Rooms with a Resort View start at $832 per night and can go up to $1,930 per night for a Deluxe Room with club level service.
  • Boulder Ridge Villas range from $546 per night for a Deluxe Studio and can go as high as $2,625 per night for a 2-Bedroom Villa.
  • Copper Creek Villas & Cabins start at $477 per night for a Deluxe Studio and can go up to $5,412 per night for a 3-Bedroom Grand Villa.

Room rates vary throughout the year. Slower times of the year tend to see lower prices while busier times yield higher prices. The busier times of the year are generally during school breaks and holidays. Winter holidays and holiday weekends are when you can expect to see the highest prices of the year.

One Unique Thing

Everything about Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is beautiful, from the picturesque landscape setting to the rustic lodge exterior, all the way to the inside decor. The lobby of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is a breathtaking site. Upon walking in, you’ll be met by an enormous stone hearth fireplace, hand-carved totem poles, and Native American headdresses.

Dining Options at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

Multiple dining options and styles are available at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, including quick-service restaurants, full-service dining, and a unique character dining experience.

  • Geyser Point Bar & Grill – This waterfront bar and grill is in close proximity to the Copper Creek Springs Pool and offers amazing views of Bay Lake. Guests can enjoy light bites, and desserts, or opt for more filling meals when dining here.
  • Roaring Fork – This quick-service restaurant provides delicious options for Guests at Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. In the morning, Guests can head to Roaring Fork for items such as Mickey-shaped waffles, eggs, pastries, and other delicious breakfast items. In the afternoon and evening, the menu includes heartier items such as burgers, hot and cold sandwiches, and barbecue. A wide range of snacks, desserts, and bakery items are also available here.
  • Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White – Story Book Dining at Artist Point allows Guests to step into the Enchanted Forest and dine with special Guests such as Snow White, Dopey, and Grumpy. There’s also an opportunity to encounter the Evil Queen during this character dining experience.
  • Territory Lounge – This log cabin-themed lounge offers craft brews, wines, and specialty coffees. Small plates are also available. (Now through May 21st, 2025, a pop-up continental breakfast is also available from 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM.)
  • Whispering Canyon Café – This Old West-themed restaurant offers all-you-care-to-enjoy skillets for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Entreés, sides, and shareable dishes are also available. Those looking for a special drink can enjoy a zero-proof cocktail, milkshake, or morning cocktail.

Transportation at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

The main form of transportation at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is the bus service. However, water taxi services are also available.

  • Magic Kingdom – Boat, Bus
  • EPCOT – Bus
  • Hollywood Studios – Bus
  • Animal Kingdom – Bus
  • Disney Springs – Bus
  • Typhoon Lagoon / Blizzard Beach – Bus

The water taxi service can also be used to travel from Disney’s Wilderness Lodge to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Disney’s Contemporary Resort. From Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Guests also have access to Disney’s Polynesian Resort and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa via the monorail.

Those wishing to visit other Walt Disney World Resort hotels can do so by driving their own vehicle, taking a rideshare, or taking a bus to Disney Springs and transferring over to the desired resort’s bus.

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Pools

There are two different pool areas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge – Copper Creek Springs Pool and Boulder Ridge Cove Pool. Within these two areas, there are opportunities to enjoy watery fun and relax.

Copper Creek Springs Pool is considered the main pool at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Here, Guests can enjoy swimming in the large pool and sliding down a 67-foot-long water slide. Little ones are sure to enjoy time in the recently added activity play area, while grown-ups take time to relax in the hot and cold whirlpool spas.

Those looking for a more quiet experience may want to head over to the Boulder Ridge Cove Pool. While not officially deemed a quiet pool, this area is generally more peaceful than the Copper Creek Springs Pool. At the Boulder Ridge Cove Pool, Guests can enjoy the waters of the zero-entry pool or relax in the whirlpool spa. When it’s time to take a break from the sun, Guests can enjoy time in one of the 6 shaded seating areas. (Available on a first-come, first-served basis.)
