Walt Disney World Value Resorts

The Walt Disney World value hotel resorts are the most affordable out of the three categories. The average cost of a value resort starts around $180 per night and can go up to $550 per night for the family suites at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.

Value hotels do not have hot tubs, water slides or table service (sit down) restaurants. All of the Walt Disney World value resorts are motel style with access to the hotel rooms facing outside. The rooms are in separate buildings with a main building housing the check-in desk, quick service dining, resort gift shop, arcade, etc.

Walt Disney World Moderate Resorts

The Walt Disney World moderate hotel resorts are in the midrange of price with the average cost of a moderate resort starting around $285 per night and going up to $540 per night. Many of the moderate resorts are extremely large in size so you may want to pay for a preferred room over a standard room in order to be close to the main building, amenities, and transportation.

Resort hotels in the moderate category will have a larger range of amenities like more impressive pools with slides and hot tubs, sit down dining options, and more variety of recreation options.

Walt Disney World Deluxe Resorts

The Walt Disney World deluxe resorts fall in the highest range of cost when comparing the three different hotel categories. The average cost for a standard room at a deluxe resort starts around $509 per night and can go up to $729 per night. Club Level service is available at the deluxe resort hotels for guests looking to enhance their vacation even further.

Deluxe resorts include a step up from the moderate-level Disney World resorts as they will all have hot tubs, water slides, and table service restaurants but also some more luxurious options like spa services, signature dining, character dining, and monorail access depending on the resort. Deluxe resort hotel guests also have an additional perk of visiting the parks after close with Extended Evening Hours.

Walt Disney World Villas

Many of the best Disney World deluxe resorts on this list also include the option of deluxe villas. Villas at Walt Disney World offer spacious multi-room options with fully-equipped kitchens. For some locations, villas can go up to three rooms. A common misconception is that only Disney Vacation Club members can stay at the villas and most can be booked by all guests.

You can also save a considerable amount of money by renting Disney Vacation Club points to stay at one of these villas rather than paying full price.
