Top 9 Cheapest Disneyland Hotels

During your trip to Disneyland, finding a comfortable, ideal place to stay can sometimes be challenging given the abundance of hotel options in the Anaheim area surrounding Disneyland. Some of the best hotels near Disneyland come at a higher price point, and while some onsite locations like the Disneyland Hotel and Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa keep you immersed in the Disney magic throughout your trip, it's not always feasible to stay at these locations given their high price. There are also several advantages to choosing one of the cheapest Disneyland hotels to stay at during your trip.

Especially if you are planning to be at the parks all day and mostly use your hotel as a place to sleep and recharge for the next day, it's worthwhile to find a cheaper hotel option that is comfortable, clean, and in close proximity to Disneyland. These cheapest Disneyland hotels will provide you with basic amenities, clean accommodations, and benefits like free breakfast, but some also offer additional perks while still maintaining a reasonable price.

We have stayed at many of the hotels in the Anaheim area and have compiled some of our favorite cheapest Disneyland hotels that we would recommend you stay at during your next vacation. We will break down our top picks and what makes them stand out, complete with a list of pros and cons for each. This list is a sub-section of our bigger best hotels near Disneyland guide.

  1. HOJO for the win. Have been staying there about 80% of the time since my kids were small – over 25 years. Every time I have stayed somewhere else to “check that place out” – I have come to regret it. The staff has taken care of any and all issues I have ever had. Usually have stayed in the buildings in the middle (3,4,5,6) although #5 is near the smoking area – so I ask to change it – and they are happy to do so. These rooms in the original buildings are bigger than most and I am fine with ‘dated’ decor as we are there to go to the park – and the rooms are for sleeping! The ONLY thing I don’t like anymore is that they now charge for parking – which they did not do before COVID. It seems that since COVID, businesses just took it as a cue to jack up prices for everything – even things they usually did not charge for. Oh well – there are others to blame for that mess.
