The teams at Disneyland and Walt Disney World are rolling out exciting new attractions in 2026, along with several discounts. For anyone planning a vacation next year, it’s essential to know what’s on the horizon and how to make the most of these savings.

Disneyland 2026 New Attractions
The only confirmed date we have for a new ride experience in 2026 for Disneyland is the new mission for the Millennium Falcon in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. This mission, created for Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run, will allow guests to fly alongside the Mandalorian and Grogu. This experience will open on the same date as the new feature film The Mandalorian and Grogu on May 22, 2026.
Other experiences are already planned to come soon in winter 2025, like the new Tangled scene being added to Storybook Land Canal Boats.

The biggest discount Disneyland has released so far for 2026 is the 3-day California Resident Park Hopper deal. This discount is available for purchase starting December 3, 2025, and is valid for visits January 1, 2026, through May 21, 2026. Disneyland will also offer discounts on resort stays during spring 2026, which typically offer up to 20% in savings.
There are also multiple dates to enjoy $104 ticket pricing for Disneyland in 2026, with many of these dates falling in early spring.
Walt Disney World 2026 New Attractions
Walt Disney World’s version of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios is also receiving the new mission featuring Mandalorian and Grogu, opening on May 22, 2026. Hollywood Studios will also receive other new experiences, including the opening of the new themed Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in Hollywood Studios will open in summer 2026, starring The Muppets. Another significant change coming to Hollywood Studios is the transformation of Animation Courtyard, which will debut a new animation experience and a Disney Junior show in 2026.
Early 2026 will also debut long-requested Audio-Animatronic updates for Frozen Ever After in EPCOT, which will be preceded by a transformation to make Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure 2D in EPCOT, opening November 14, 2025.
When we look at Magic Kingdom, there is a classic ride getting a major update set to open next year of Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at Magic Kingdom, with new ride vehicles, a new Audio-Animatronic, and a better gameplay design.
As for Animal Kingdom, a new Zootopia show is opening on November 7, 2025, adding a new experience for guests visiting in 2026.
And that’s not all! More future projects are in the works at Walt Disney World, including a new Tropical Americas land in Animal Kingdom, a Disney Cars themed area replacing the Rivers of America in Magic Kingdom, along with a full-fledged villains land being built behind Big Thunder Mountain, and a new Monsters Inc. themed land in Hollywood Studios.
Walt Disney World 2026 Discounts
Disney World has released many 2026 discounts, including extended free dining for kids when adults purchase the Disney dining plans throughout the year. Other savings include resort packages with savings of up to $250 per night that can be combined with the free kids’ dining or a higher value resort package with savings of up to 25% on room stays.
