Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the third theme park built at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, opening on May 1, 1989. Originally designed as both a theme park and a fully functioning production studio, the park was created to celebrate movies, television, music, and theater as an answer to the popularity of film. Since then Disney’s Hollywood Studios operates only as a theme park but retains its theming inspired by film.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is divided into seven themed areas: Hollywood Boulevard, Echo Lake, Grand Avenue, Commissary Lane, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Toy Story Land, and Animation Courtyard. The park has over 20 attractions, with more new Walt Disney World rides and experiences coming in the future.
