Walt Disney World‘s selection of dining locations across the resort’s 43 square miles is so eclectic that when recommending the “best” of any particular item, it’s often difficult to choose just one. We recently reviewed what we think is the best quick service restaurant in Disney Springs. In the case of a classic crowdpleaser like a hamburger, foodies have quite the list of options, all of which elevate this familiar dish into something distinctly Disney-quality.
Today, we’re sharing our picks for the best four hamburgers in Disney World and where to find them. Some of them may already be on your radar, but we’re almost certain that at least one of them definitely isn’t. Mickey Visit brings you the latest Disney news and planning resources, including 3 new offerings coming to Disney Springs and an overlooked Disney World restaurant with easy-to-get reservations that’s great for picky eaters.

The Bison Cheeseburger is served at Geyser Point Bar & Grill, a table service restaurant at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. It’s $26 and is served with bacon, sweet crispy onion straws, marionberry sauce, and garlic aïoli. The bun is almost like an everything bagel.
Geyser Point gets our vote for the best restaurant view in all of Disney World.
See our full review to read why, as well as see some of its other menu items like plant-based macaroni and cheese bites.
Wayfinder Burger at Wailulu Bar & Grill
The Wayfinder Burger is served at Wailulu Bar & Grill, a table service restaurant at Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.
Wailulu is one of our new favorite Disney World food spots. It’s part of the Polynesian Resort‘s Island Tower, which opened in late 2024. There are great fireworks views here of Magic Kingdom across the Seven Seas Lagoon. This is another dinner and a view location.
The burger is $23 and consists of two pressed patties, American cheese, onion jam, volcano sauce, and a sweet bun. The Wayfinder Burger comes with a side of macaroni salad or sweet potato fries.
This is a smash burger that is served with two patties. We highly recommend both the restaurant and the burger. The flavors of the crisped smash burger and melted cheese make this a top pick.
Note that Wailulu is currently undergoing an exterior refurbishment impacting its dining service as part of sweeping changes throughout the Polynesian Village Resort campus. Wailulu remains open during this work, but its seating areas are closed during lunch hours. From 11 AM to 5 PM, Wailulu currently only offers walk-up, to-go service, with no reservations available and no seating provided.
From 5 PM to closing time, Wailulu operates full-service with all seating areas open and accepting reservations as usual. Disney says the work at Wailulu will continue through late June 2026.
Stack Burger at Steakhouse 71
The Stack Burger is served at Steakhouse 71, a table service restaurant at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. This it the lobby bar sit down restaurant that is themed to the opening of Walt Disney World with great photos along the walls. You can enjoy the burger in either lounge or full restaurant.
This is a common favorite among Disney World guests and is often recommended, but there’s a reason for that. The Stack Burger costs $24 and is made of a signature beef blend, pork belly, American cheese, lemon aïoli, red onion, house-made pickles, and a brioche bun. The Stack Burger comes with a side of petite Caesar salad, steak fries, or pasta salad.
This is the second smash burger that makes this list. It is served with two patties like the burger at the location above.
Note that the Stack Burger is only served during lunch hours, 11:45 AM to 2 PM. Once Steakhouse 71 turns over for dinner, the burger is not on the menu. We also recommend breakfast at this location and think the omelette served here is one of our favorite resort breakfast options.
Braai Burger at Victoria Falls Lounge
The Braai Burger is served at Victoria Falls Lounge, a bar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. This is the bar above Boma – Flavors of Africa, a table service restaurant. This burger is awesome, and it’s the one we think is most overlooked out of the four on our list.
The Braai Burger costs $24 and is a Venison-beef blend served with Muenster cheese, chakalaka jam, green tomato pickle, and peri peri aïoli. It comes with a side of seasoned chips.
Here’s a look at the inside of the Braai Burger. This burger was delicious. The meat melts in your mouth and the toppings and bun are the perfect combination of flavors. You have the option of upgrading your chips to potatoes tossed in vinegar and cheese, but I opted for the chips which were still fantastic.
The burger comes out of the kitchen from the Jiko – The Cooking Place restaurant. This is one of the fanciest restaurants at Walt Disney World and this burger and the rest of the food at the Victoria Falls Lounge do not disappoint. The patty here is thick. It’s more about the quality of the meat blend than the previous smash burgers. Highly recommend!
Note that Victoria Falls Lounge is only open during the evening, operating from 5 to 10 PM. This restaurant is located on a mezzanine level between the lobby floor and floor with Jiko and the Boma buffet. It’s a perfect place to relax late into the evening.
