Moving onto the discounts, you'll notice that some are already noted on the list of Team Member perks. However, now it’s time to look more specifically into those discounts that are available to Universal Orlando Team Members.

Free Theme Park Tickets

Team Members of Universal Orlando get to enjoy the parks at no additional cost to them. Not only do they get to enter Universal Orlando parks absolutely free, they also get to enjoy additional parks including SeaWorld and Busch Gardens! Currently, the Universal Orlando parks that Team Members have free admission to are Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, and their water park, Volcano Bay. In 2025, they will also have access to Universal Orlando’s newest park, Epic Universe.

If you’re not familiar with Universal Orlando’s theme parks, they each have incredibly themed lands. Universal Studios Florida is most well known for Minion Land and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley. With a quick ride on the Hogwarts Express, you can head over to Universal’s Islands of Adventure and the connecting Harry Potter land. At Islands of Adventure you’ll find The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade, Jurassic Park, and Skull Island.

Epic Universe is going to bring even more fun and immersive lands to Universal Orlando when it opens in 2025. The announced lands for Epic Universe are How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, and Dark Universe. Additional Ticket Discounts

Besides free admission for themselves, Team Members of Universal Orlando also receive a specified number of complimentary tickets each quarter as well as discounts on additional tickets! More specifically, Team Members can save up to 30% on single and multi-day tickets.

Team Members may purchase up to 6 discounted tickets in a 30 day period. They must also be present in order for the discount to be valid. Discounted tickets are non-transferable.

Savings on Universal Orlando Resort Hotels

Universal Orlando has a variety of on-property hotels. These hotels are divided into Value Resorts, Prime Value Resorts, Preferred Resorts, and Premier Resorts. Staying on property at Universal Orlando comes with multiple benefits.

Universal hotel guests receive early access to the parks and can enjoy extra park time before the general public arrives. All guests of Universal Resort Hotels can enter Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay 1 hour prior to park opening. (We’re excited to see Epic Universe added to this list next year!)

Hotel guests can also enjoy free transportation to the parks and Universal CityWalk via water taxis or shuttles! Shopping is made easy for Universal hotel guests with free merchandise delivery from the shops directly to your hotel! You can also use your room key to easily charge your purchases to your room. Your room key can also be used for charging your dining expenses!

Guests staying at Premier Resort Hotels receive Universal Express Pass absolutely free! This allows them to skip the regular lines at select attractions at the Universal theme parks.

Special Event Discounts

Although the amount is not specifically noted, Universal Orlando Team Members receive special pricing on special events that are taking place at the resort. This includes events such as Halloween Horror Nights.

Halloween Horror Nights is Universal’s special Halloween event. This event takes place on select nights from late August through early November. During this event, guests can enjoy the thrills and chills of 10 haunted houses and 5 scare zones. There is also live entertainment during the event. Of course, you can also enjoy rides and attractions as well as specialty merchandise, food, and drinks.

Please note that this event is more intense than other Halloween events that take place in the Orlando area. It is strongly encouraged that children be 13 years of age or older before attending Halloween Horror Nights. Guests cannot wear costumes or masks during the event.

Shopping and Dining Discounts

On top of having free entrance into the parks, Team Members also can enjoy discounts on food and merchandise while they’re there! Team Members currently receive 15% off at select restaurants at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure as well as 20% off merchandise at select stores and carts.

The 15% dining discount only applies to restaurants and does not apply to snack carts throughout the parks. Both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure have a wide variety of delicious restaurants to choose from.
