Major construction projects are underway at Walt Disney World, and not just inside the theme parks. In addition to Villains Land, Piston Peak National Park, Monstropolis, and Tropical Americas, all of which are huge new theme park lands being built, construction teams are hard at work on Disney World’s next hotel. Dining news was just revealed for this future overnight destination.
Three unique restaurants are coming to the new Magic Kingdom hotel opening at Disney World in 2027. We have a look at all three dining locations, plus new concept art of the hotel lobby and fireworks viewing area. Disney Lakeshore Lodge is Disney World’s Next Hotel
Disney Lakeshore Lodge is a new hotel opening at Walt Disney World in summer 2027. The resort will be located near Magic Kingdom along the shores of Bay Lake, adjacent to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.
Lakeshore Lodge will be eligible for Disney Vacation Club (DVC), so we assume it will be categorized in Disney’s deluxe tier of hotels for non-DVC members, as other DVC properties are. The hotel will be themed to nature.

Disney previously shared an extensive look at the pool areas of Lakeshore Lodge, which will be some of the most varied of any Disney World hotel. The pool area is collectively called The Wetlands, and it amounts to a mini water park. The Wetlands will feature a zero-entry pool, a slide, a kids’ splash area, a dry playground, and a lazy river. Separately from The Wetlands will be a quiet pool and a hot tub.
Disney revealed new concept art on August 4, 2026, of the Lakeshore Lodge lobby. A blown-glass sculpture inspired by the song “Colors of the Wind” from Pocahontas will hang in this area. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows will provide views out onto Bay Lake.
Disney also revealed Dandelion Terrace, a common area of Lakeshore Lodge providing prime fireworks viewing for Magic Kingdom’s nighttime spectaculars. This might be a first for Disney World, as Dandelion Terrace isn’t a reservable space or a restaurant guaranteeing fireworks views, but rather an indoor area, open to any hotel guest, designed with fireworks viewing in mind.
Dandelion Terrace will also feature a two-story gallery of artwork from The Walt Disney Archives. The concept art for the space depicts a piece from Fantasia’s Nutcracker Suite dandelions hanging on the wall. Disney has also said that Lakeshore Lodge will draw inspiration from Bambi, Pocahontas, and Brother Bear, so artwork from those films is likely a safe bet here.
I love the idea of a dedicated art gallery at a Disney hotel. Animators have created thousands of gorgeous sketches and paintings across Walt Disney Animation Studios’ 100-year history, and any opportunity for more of those to see the light of day is welcome.

Restaurants at Disney Lakeshore Lodge
Disney Lakeshore Lodge will be home to three dining locations: a table service restaurant, a quick service restaurant, and a bar.
The hotel’s table service restaurant will be called Moonglade. This is the restaurant that we’ve been eying in construction progress, with its location on the outermost perimeter shore of the hotel property and framed by cypress trees in the water outside.
We think Moonglade will be a hit with guests, similar to the home run of the Wailulu restaurant at Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. Disney didn’t say much about the menu of Moonglade, just that it will serve “thoughtfully prepared dishes featuring seasonally and locally sourced ingredients.”
The quick service restaurant at Lakeshore Lodge will be called Bay Lake Provisions. It will be open all day, and will be the hotel’s go-to spot for families on the go. The interior design of Bay Lake Provisions will include hidden woodland critters from Disney animated movies.
The final dining location at Lakeshore Lodge will be Paint Out Point Bar & Grill, serving light bites and specialty drinks. It will be located adjacent to the main pool. The space will be decorated with artwork created by Imagineers inspired by Bay Lake.
Years ago, Disney announced a precursor to Lakeshore Lodge called Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge. It seems like many of the plans from this earlier version of the property carried over into what is currently being built, but something is missing from the restaurant lineup. Disney previously shared that a table service restaurant inspired by The Princess and the Frog’s bayou setting would be part of Reflections. Given its absence from today’s news, we assume this concept was canceled for Lakeshore Lodge in favor of Moonglade.
