In tandem with these new attractions will come new dining experiences, keeping up with the industry-wide trend of highly themed restaurants with specialized menus seamlessly integrated into the openings of new rides.

Disneyland and Disney World are opening 14 new restaurants in the coming months and years, many of them connected with ambitious new attractions based on the company’s mega-franchises. We have the list of new eateries and what to expect from each location. Harryhausen’s

Harryhausen’s is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World as part of the new Monstropolis land. The centerpiece of the land will be a roller coaster based on the door vault climax in Monsters, Inc.

Harryhausen’s is a sushi restaurant where Mike Wazowski and Celia celebrate their anniversary in Monsters, Inc., and now Disney World guests will get to dine there. The upscale nature of the restaurant in the movie leads us to believe this will be a table service location in the park.

Harryhausen’s will be located where Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano previously operated at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Bopo Go!

Bopo Go! is coming to Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort as part of sweeping changes to the shopping and dining district.

The concept is a spinoff of Bopomofo Café, a franchise inspired by Japanese convenience stores. Bopo Go! will sell boba tea, aka bubble tea, made from all-natural ingredients.

Bopo Go! replaces Jamba, which permanently closed in July 2026 after 23 years in Downtown Disney.

Disney Villains Restaurant(s)

Villains Land concept art

At least one Disney Villains restaurant is coming to Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World as part of the new Villains Land. The new realm will belong to the classic antagonists of Walt Disney Animation Studios films.

Disney has promised that dining will be a prominent feature in Villains Land. Given the scale of Villains Land and its massive construction site, we expect that the Imagineers are dreaming big about how food will be paired with the huge popularity of Disney Villains.

Disney’s most prominent experiment with a Disney Villains dining experience in the past was a short-lived dinner show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2016, hosted by Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog. Villains are also prominently featured on the newest domestic Disney Cruise ship.

Would Disney opt for an upcharge entertainment dining experience like that for Villains Land, or a more traditional restaurant model that can cycle guests in and out more quickly? Or both?

Villains Land will also include two attractions yet to be announced, one of which might be a Maleficent roller coaster.

Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby

Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby is coming to Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort. We just got our first looks at the new restaurant in just released photos.

This new concept is themed as a 1960s British pub, named after Carnaby Street in London. It will be operated by longtime Downtown Disney tenant Earl of Sandwich, and will be located on the second floor of Earl of Sandwich’s new permanent building.

The new Earl of Sandwich opened in July 2026, but Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby remains closed upstairs at the time of this writing. We expect it to open soon.

Six Ravens

Six Ravens is coming to Disney Springs at Walt Disney World in summer 2026.

From the owners of the hugely popular Gideon’s Bakehouse cookie shop comes this new concept whose specialty will be “Coffyns,” an assortment of sweet and savory handpies. The aesthetic and lore of Six Ravens is expected to be just as macabre and intricate as Gideon’s.

Six Ravens will reside in what used to be The Art of Shaving.

Porto’s Bakery & Café

Porto’s Bakery & Café is coming to Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort.

The popular Southern California chain serving Cuban pastries and sandwiches will be located in a new two-story building currently under construction near the entrance gates of Disney California Adventure.

This project has been a long time coming, and construction is moving slowly compared to other Downtown Disney additions, but Porto’s arrival is nonetheless highly anticipated by fans.

Bay Lake Waterside Restaurant

A dining location with views of Bay Lake and Magic Kingdom fireworks is coming to the new Disney Lakeshore Lodge hotel at Walt Disney World, opening in summer 2027.

When Disney first announced an earlier version of Lakeshore Lodge, the company mentioned a lakeside restaurant inspired by The Princess and the Frog as part of the plans. It’s unclear if the current version of the restaurant retains that theme.

Regardless, the upcoming eatery’s picturesque views and its proximity to Lakeshore Lodge’s mini water park are sure to make this a popular spot.

This is a restaurant we are particularly excited for because of the parallels it draws to our other favorite new restaurant with fireworks views.

Avatar Restaurant(s)

At least one restaurant based on James Cameron’s Avatar films is likely coming to Disney California Adventure at Disneyland Resort.

Walt Disney Imagineering is building a new land based on the second and third films in the series, Avatar: The Way of Water and Avatar: Fire and Ash, and the modern blueprint of a Disney theme park land isn’t complete without an immersive dining destination.

It’s yet to be seen if Disney California Adventure’s Avatar dining will be quick service, similar to Satu’li Canteen in Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, or if it will be a more elaborate table service dining experience.

The land’s headliner attraction will be a thrilling boat ride.

Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon

Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon is coming to Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort. See the latest progress on this addition.

This full-service steakhouse comes from Michelin-starred Chef Joe Isidori and will expand a franchise that already has locations in New York and the Hamptons.

Arthur & Sons will reside in a new building, currently under construction, where Tortilla Jo’s was torn down. <<See our recent look at its progress.>>

Chef Isidori will also open one other new restaurant on our list later in this article.

Spanish Hacienda in the Middle of a Rainforest

A quick service restaurant is coming to the new Tropical Americas land, currently under construction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World, set for a 2027 opening.

Described as a Spanish-inspired hacienda, this will be one of the largest quick service dining locations in Disney World. It will repurpose and build upon the layout previously in place for Restaurantosaurus, which closed in early 2026 with the rest of DinoLand, U.S.A.

Since the marquee attractions of Tropical Americas will be new rides based on Encanto and Indiana Jones, some of the menu items at this restaurant may be inspired by those stories.

Monsters, Inc. Quick Service Restaurant

A quick service restaurant set in the world of Monsters, Inc. is likely coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World as part of the new Monstropolis land.

The building that previously housed the PizzeRizzo quick service restaurant will be repurposed for Monstropolis. We stepped inside the venue during a hardhat construction tour in June 2026, and saw that the PizzeRizzo interior had been completely gutted of its former theming. Disney has not formally announced what will go here, but a quick service restaurant seems likely since the building is staying in place and the kitchen is already there.

Since we anticipate the nearby Harryhausen’s restaurant to be a table service location, the PizzeRizzo replacement will likely be quick service to keep the dining offerings in Monstropolis well-rounded.

Coco Restaurant

Coco ride

A dining location based on Pixar’s Coco will likely open adjacent to the upcoming Coco boat ride at Disney California Adventure at Disneyland Resort.

The Coco ride, which will be a family-friendly adventure through the Land of the Dead, will be located at the edge of Pixar Pier, very close to Paradise Garden Grill.

During a period of over two months every year, this quick service restaurant already serves Coco-inspired food as its surrounding area is transformed into Plaza de la Familia, a seasonal celebration honoring Día de los Muertos. While Disney hasn’t officially announced a permanent Coco makeover for Paradise Garden Grill, it seems possible given the circumstances.

Regardless of the fate of Paradise Garden Grill itself, Coco-related food and beverages of some nature will undoubtedly be part of the Coco ride’s grand opening, even if they’re sold at a nearby cart rather than a full-fledged restaurant.

Piston Peak Dining

Concept art via Disney

A new dining location is likely to be part of the new Piston Peak National Park area coming to Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.

This new subsection of Frontierland will celebrate the natural beauty of U.S. national parks with two new rides based on Pixar’s Cars. Disney has not announced any full-fledged restaurants to be part of the Piston Peak plans, but dining offerings of some sort will likely be available, given the expectation of themed food and beverage with every major new Disney theme park project.

At the very least, we could see a small but permanent food window opening with Piston Peak, similar to the Westward Ho Refreshments location that recently closed to make way for Piston Peak construction.

Pearl’s Roadside BBQ

Pearl’s Roadside BBQ is coming to Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort. Pearl’s will be a quick service restaurant serving pulled pork, beef brisket, and smoked wings.

Like the aforementioned Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourdon, Pearl’s Roadside BBQ comes from Chef Joe Isidori. It will share a building with Arthur & Sons at the spot where Tortilla Jo’s once stood.
