Downtown Disney is the Disneyland Resort's shopping, dining, and entertainment center within walking distance of the two theme parks. Downtown Disney has recently been introducing several new experiences as part of a larger expansion and reimagining of the area.
The Downtown Disney area was first created as part of the expansion of the Disneyland Resort from just the Disneyland theme park to also include Disney California Adventure Park, Downtown Disney, and Disney's Grand Californian Hotel.

Downtown Disney Overview
Downtown Disney is located right next to the Esplanade connecting the two theme parks. This shopping and dining district connects to two of Disneyland's on-site hotels, Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and the Disneyland Hotel.

Some of the Disneyland restaurants at Downtown Disney include Naples Ristroante e Pizzeria, Ballast Point, Splitsville, Din Tai Fung, and more.
You can also find quick service options like Earl of Sandwich, Starbucks, Wetzel's Pretzels, and Jamba.
Some of the stores at Downtown Disney include the World of Disney, Curl Surf, Pandora Jewelry, Sephora, Sunglass Hut, the Lego Store, and more. A Lululemon store is a more recent store addition.
