Disney World is Opening 10 New Restaurants. Here’s Every New Restaurant Coming

Dining has become an increasingly important aspect of Disney vacations, with guests spending more money on food. Disney management wouldn’t dream of opening a new attraction in the modern era without a dining tie-in of special menu items and novelties. Thanks to $17 billion designated for Walt Disney World expansion in Florida, major future attractions are on the way, which means new restaurants to go along with them. Disneyland in California also has its own set of new restaurants opening.

10 new and reimagined restaurants are in the works or actively under construction at Disney World. We list them all and share our prediction of when they’ll open. Mickey Visit brings you the latest Disney news and planning resources, including how to access Disney World’s new Bluey attraction and Disney World’s most expensive experiences.

1. La Poutinerie

La Poutinerie before and after

La Poutinerie will be the new name of the popular poutine window at EPCOT, near the Canada Pavilion. Previously known as Refreshment Port, this location closed in January 2026.

When it reopens with its new name, La Poutinerie will feature a small maple tree, statues of flying geese, and emblems of the Canadian flag’s red leaf. Columns on the side will also sport rockwork instead of unthemed cement. The location’s new sponsor will be Air Canada.

Given the popularity of Refreshment Port, I expect La Poutinerie to retain the same signature poutine, served with gravy, cheese curds, and French fries. I also wouldn’t be surprised if Disney added a few new items to the menu.

An opening date has not been announced for La Poutinerie.

2. FØØD by Swedish Chef

FØØD by Swedish Chef is a food truck coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and located just outside of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. This location will be a reimagining of the former KRNR The Rock Station, the food truck that accompanied the now-defunct Aerosmith version of the ride.

The namesake celebrity chef is, of course, the resident culinary icon of the Muppets ensemble, whose cooking demonstrations rarely turn out as planned.

The menu features Muppet-inspired spins on snacks and drinks, such as Wocka Wocking Nachos, named for Fozzie Bear’s catchphrase “Wocka Wocka,” and Pink Le-Moi-Nade in honor of Miss Piggy. See the full FØØD by Swedish Chef menu with photos here.

FØØD by Swedish Chef will open on May 26, 2026, the same day as Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. Previews of the ride for Disney World annual passholders and Disney Vacation Club members will take place several days prior, so there may be a chance that FØØD by Swedish Chef could be open during those previews, too.

3. Six Ravens

Six Ravens is a grab-and-go shop coming to Disney Springs.

This eatery comes from the creators of Gideon’s Bakehouse, Disney Springs’ extremely popular cookie shop. Like Gideon’s, Six Ravens’ aesthetic will be somewhat macabre. The shop’s specialty item will be “Coffyns,” fluffy, yeast-based handpies, sold in sweet and savory varieties.

Six Ravens occupies the space previously home to The Art of Shaving, directly across from Paradiso 37.

Six Ravens will open sometime in summer 2026. Disney has not announced an exact opening date.

4. Level99

Level99 is a chain gaming center opening a new location at Disney Springs. Disney describes Level99 as “a sprawling playground for teens and adults.” Over 60 games in Level99 range from escape-room-style activities to physical challenges.

Along with the games themselves, Level99 will include a two-story bar serving Detroit-style deep-dish pizza, wagyu burgers, cocktails, and beer.

Level99 is located in the former home of Disney Springs’ short-lived NBA Experience. Before that, this real estate belonged to DisneyQuest, though the DisneyQuest building was completely demolished to construct the NBA Experience.

Level99 will open sometime in summer 2026, though Disney has not revealed a specific date.

5. Pueblo Esperanza Hacienda

A new quick-service restaurant is coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom as part of the park’s upcoming Tropical Americas land.

The story of Tropical Americas will take place in the fictional town of Pueblo Esperanza in the middle of a rain forest, and Disney describes this restaurant as the town’s hacienda.

As a whole, Tropical Americas replaces DinoLand, U.S.A., which permanently closed in February 2026. This restaurant will be located in the building that previously belonged to Restaurantosaurus and Dino-Bite Snacks, making it one of the largest quick-service restaurants in Disney World. Rather than demolishing the building altogether, Disney will re-theme it to match Pueblo Esperanza.

The restaurant will likely serve food and beverages inspired by the Tropical Americas’ marquee Encanto and Indiana Jones rides.

Tropical Americas, including the new restaurant, opens in 2027. Disney has not announced an exact opening season or date.

6. Bay Lake Waterside Restaurant

A new restaurant will open as part of Disney Lakeshore Lodge, an upcoming Disney World hotel. The new resort is currently under construction along Bay Lake near Magic Kingdom. See more details on Disney Lakeshore Lodge here.

At the edge of the shoreline is a building that appears to be a restaurant, likely a table-service eatery with water views. We would love to see the same ambience as the popular restaurant at the newer Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Resort.

A previous, canceled version of Disney Lakeshore Lodge was called Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge. In the original announcement for the former version of the project, Disney described a restaurant based on The Princess and the Frog. The company has not mentioned any such Princess and the Frog restaurant for Disney Lakeshore Lodge so far, but I’m curious to know if the future restaurant will retain that concept.

Disney Lakeshore Lodge and its new restaurant will open in summer 2027.

7. Harryhausen’s

Monsters, Inc. Harryhausen's

Harryhausen’s is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios as part of a new Monstropolis land, based on Monsters, Inc. The land’s headliner attraction will be a roller coaster themed to the climactic doors chase from the movie!

Though Disney hasn’t formally revealed Harryhausen’s in any press materials, concept art for the Monstropolis land clearly shows the restaurant as part of the offerings. In the film, Harryhausen’s was a fancy restaurant where Mike Wazowski and Celia celebrated their anniversary dinner.

The location of Harryhausen’s within the concept art shows it replacing Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano, which permanently closed in 2025.

Disney recently opened Mike & Sulley’s – Flavors of Asia onboard the Disney Adventure cruise ship, lightly themed to Harryhausen’s, which may provide some hints of what to expect from the theme park version of the restaurant.

Disney has not mentioned an opening timeframe for Monstropolis.

8. Monstropolis Quick-Service Restaurant

For the remainder of this story, we get into speculation territory as we make educated guesses about future restaurants based on Disney’s plans for the parks.

Much of the Monstropolis land replaces the former Muppet Courtyard area of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Disney will repurpose many of the buildings in this vicinity rather than tearing them down. One of those buildings was formerly the Muppets-themed PizzeRizzo quick-service restaurant, and before that, it was Toy Story Pizza Planet Arcade.

Disney has not torn down the PizzeRizzo building, and concept art shows it remaining once Monstropolis opens. With Harryhausen’s offering what will likely be a table-service restaurant, an additional dining location can provide a quick-service option as part of the new land.

9. Piston Peak Dining

Piston Peak National Park

Piston Peak National Park is a new area coming to Frontierland at Magic Kingdom with two rides themed to Pixar’s Cars. One of the attractions will be a thrill ride, and the other will be family-friendly.

Disney hasn’t announced any dining as part of Piston Peak, but current trends indicate Disney won’t open any new rides without accompanying food, even if it’s a small food truck. Regardless of whether Piston Peak will have its own full restaurant, some form of dining will likely be part of the project.

Piston Peak is not a copy of Cars Land at Disney California Adventure, but Cars Land’s food options might provide an idea of what to expect here. The bread cones served at the Cozy Cone Motel are especially popular. Would Sally franchise her creations and open a satellite branch for national park visitors?

10. Villains Land Dining

Villains Land is coming to Magic Kingdom as an entirely new land. Disney has been tight-lipped about Villains Land details, including which Villains will be part of the proceedings, but has promised that dining is part of the plans.

Since Villains Land is a whole land, rather than just an “area” like Piston Peak, I expect it will have at least one quick-service restaurant and multiple snack carts or dining windows of note. A table-service restaurant would be the dream, but not every Magic Kingdom land has one of those, so it isn’t guaranteed here.

Disney has tested out various models of a Villains-themed dining experience over the years. Decades ago, Disney Villains frequented a character dinner hosted at 1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. These days, the restaurant is instead frequented by Cinderella, Aladdin, Tiana, and Mirabel.

Villains’ Sinister Soiree was a short-lived character dinner offered in 2014 at Cinderella’s Royal Table, just for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. These days, Cinderella’s Royal Table is still open during the party, but without Villains.

The most substantial Villains dining experiment in recent years was Club Villain, a dinner show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2016. Would Disney opt for a high-priced entertaining dining experience like that for Villains Land, or prefer a more traditional restaurant model that can cycle guests in and out more quickly?

See more of what we know so far about Villains Land and clues for what Disney is building here.
