The Walt Disney World Skyliner connects several of Disney’s most visually distinct resorts. If you’re staying at a Disney World hotel or are an annual passholder, start at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and board the Skyliner to your first stop. Otherwise, park at Disney Springs for free and take the bus to the Art of Animation Resort to kick things off.
Here’s how I would personally plan the Skyliner Resorts bar crawl:
Stop 1 – The Drop Off Pool Bar (Art of Animation Resort)
Start the Skyliner crawl at one of Disney World’s most colorful and energetic resorts.
The Drop Off Pool Bar at Disney’s Art of Animation is a lively, casual poolside bar surrounded by larger-than-life sculptures of some of our favorite Disney and Pixar characters. The atmosphere here is fun, vibrant, and playful, making it the perfect place to loosen up and get the crawl started on a high note.
Signature Drink: Kick things off with the Seafoam Refresher, a bright, tropical cocktail made with coconut rum, blue curaçao, and pineapple juice. It’s fruity, refreshing, and pairs perfectly with The Big Blue Pool surrounding the bar.
Insider Tip: The Drop Off Pool Bar is primarily a resort pool bar, so it’s casual, relaxed, and walk-up friendly. Keep in mind that pool bars at Disney World can close earlier than lounge-style bars, so plan this as your first stop of the evening rather than saving it for later in the crawl.
Stop 2 – Banana Cabana (Caribbean Beach Resort)
Board the Skyliner and ride over to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort for one of the most laid-back and charming stops on the entire crawl.
Banana Cabana is a colorful, open-air pool bar that embodies the breezy island spirit of the Caribbean Beach Resort. With its vibrant tropical decor, relaxed atmosphere, and views of the beautiful Barefoot Bay, this is the kind of bar that makes you feel like you’re on a real Caribbean vacation.
Signature Drink: Order the Island Time Seasonal Margarita, a fun, fruity cocktail whose flavor can vary according to when you visit.
Insider Tip: Caribbean Beach Resort is one of the largest resorts on Disney property, so give yourself a few extra minutes to find Banana Cabana if it’s your first time visiting. It’s located near the Old Port Royale area of the resort. When in doubt, ask any cast member for directions, and they’ll point you right to it.
Stop 3 – Le Petit Cafe (Riviera Resort)
Hop back on the Skyliner and make your way to the crown jewel of the Skyliner resort area: the Riviera Resort.
Le Petit Cafe is a charming, European-inspired coffee and cocktail bar located inside the Riviera Resort lobby. The atmosphere is elegant, with soft lighting, beautiful tile work, and an understated sophistication. Grab a cocktail or coffee and take time to sit at The Voyageurs’ Lounge to admire all of the Walt Disney-related items from his trips to Europe.
Signature Drink: Order the Elderflower Spritz, a light and refreshing prosecco cocktail with a hint of raspberries and elderflower that feels perfectly at home. If you’re in the mood for something non-alcoholic, Le Petit Cafe’s specialty coffee drinks are equally impressive.
Insider Tip: Le Petit Cafe is a smaller, counter-service style stop compared to the other bars on this crawl, so it’s a great place to grab a quick drink and a pastry without committing to a full sit-down experience. It’s also the perfect spot to pick up a coffee if you need a little mid-crawl energy boost.
Stop 4 – Bar Riva (Riviera Resort)
Stay at the Riviera Resort and make your way downstairs to Bar Riva, one of Disney World’s most beautifully designed bars.
Inspired by the sun-soaked beaches and glamorous poolside culture of the Italian and French Riviera, this outdoor bar sits right alongside the resort’s pool area and offers a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere. The views, the decor, and the cocktail menu all work together to create something genuinely special.
Signature Drink: Try the Negroni Spritz, a fun take on a Negroni with added tonic water. It’s refreshing and pairs perfectly with the Riviera Resort’s breathtaking surroundings.
Insider Tip: Take your time at the Riviera Resort, because Bar Riva and Le Petit Cafe are both located here. The Riviera Resort is one of Disney World’s most beautiful hotels, and it deserves more than a quick visit. If the weather is nice, grab a seat outside at Bar Riva and soak it all in.
Stop 5 – Topolino’s Terrace (Riviera Resort)
End the Skyliner crawl on the highest note possible: at the rooftop of the Riviera Resort.
Topolino’s Terrace sits on the rooftop of the Riviera Resort and offers one of the best views of any bar or restaurant on all of Disney World property. On a clear evening, you can see Spaceship Earth next door, EPCOT’s fireworks, and sweeping views of the entire resort area from the outdoor terrace. The atmosphere is upscale and romantic, the cocktail menu is inspired by the flavors of the French and Italian Riviera, and the experience as a whole is one that is truly hard to beat.
Signature Drink: Order the Modern Fashioned, one of my favorite old fashioned cocktails on Disney World property, made with vanilla bean. Sip it slowly, find a spot on the outdoor terrace, and watch the EPCOT fireworks paint the sky in front of you.
Insider Tip: Topolino’s Terrace is one of the most in-demand dining reservations at Disney World, but the bar area is walk-up friendly for guests looking to enjoy a drink without a full dinner reservation. Arrive early in the evening to secure a spot on the outdoor terrace before the fireworks begin.
Whether you’re looking for a fun resort-hopping challenge or just an excuse to explore some of Disney World’s best lounges, a Skyliner bar crawl is one of the easiest ways to turn transportation into part of the experience.
