Refreshment Port is a food window near the Canada Pavilion in EPCOT’s World Showcase. Known for its varieties of poutine, Refreshment Port closed in January 2026 for what Disney described at the time as a refurbishment.
The dining location has been closed for three months. The poutine served here is a guest favorite among the many EPCOT dining options, so we anticipate many fans will be pleased to finally hear an update. We now know the work happening involves more than standard upkeep.
When Refreshment Port reopens, it will be known as La Poutinerie. We expect the location’s signature poutine menu items to remain, but the exterior will be redesigned with the new name.

As seen in concept art, flourishes of Canadian imagery will be added to the otherwise bland exterior of the former Refreshment Port.
The future look of La Poutinerie will feature a small maple tree, statues of flying geese, and emblems of the Canadian flag’s red leaf. Columns on the side will also sport rockwork instead of unthemed cement.

The news of Refreshment Port changing to La Poutinerie comes from the official website of Air Canada rather than from Disney itself. Air Canada will be the new sponsor of this food location.
The opening date for La Poutinerie has not been announced. Air Canada simply lists the location as “coming soon.” Refreshment Port remains closed for the time being.
As the official Canadian airline of Walt Disney World, Air Canada also offers in-flight Disney+ access to travelers, as well as point-redemption on Disney gift cards and reserved viewing for EPCOT’s fireworks show, Luminous The Symphony of Us.
Updates Happening Throughout EPCOT
