NEW: Japan Pavilion Restaurant OpeningShiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya at EPCOT - food

Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya is the name of a new table-service restaurant opening in the Japan Pavilion this summer. This new dining experience will capture the essence of Japan's essential festivals with each month bringing a new celebration to the restaurant. The dining festival experiences will feature “hanging tanzaku to celebrate Tanabata in July to savoring moon-viewing dumplings in September” with a cultural representative from Japan guiding guests through the experience. The atmosphere will celebrate these festivals of Japan with beautiful hand painted artwork and lanterns. The full menu will feature favorites like sushi and teppan items with an open sushi bar and grill.

This restaurant will be located on the second floor of the Japan pavilion offering great views of EPCOT, the World Showcase Lagoon, and the evening fireworks.

Space 220 is open in Epcot. See our full guide to Space 220 restaurant.This highly anticipated dining experience is located next to the Mission: SPACE ride and is themed to immerse guests in outer space. Guests will board “space elevators” that will transport them to what feels like 220 miles above Earth in the Centauri Space Station. As you look out the windows of this dining experience, you will see spectacular views from space and the Earth below.

La Crêperie de Paris serves galettes and crêpes from Brittany and includes gluten-friendly savory galettes-made with buckwheat imported exclusively from France.

The restaurant also offers a daily prix fixe menu that includes a choice of soup or a salad, one savory galette, one dessert crêpe, and a glass of hard cider, soda or juice. The full menu of savory and sweet crêpes features:

Future World consists of several pavilions, including Spaceship Earth, Innoventions, Mission: Space, Test Track: Presented by Chevrolet, The Seas with Nemo & Friends, The Land (Soarin' and Living with the Land: Presented by Chiquita), and Imagination! (Journey into Imagination with Figment).

The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival runs from August to November. Guests have several options to purchase, including Beverage Seminars, Cheese Seminars, Culinary Demonstrations, Eat to the Beat Dining Package, Food & Beverage Pairings at Festival Welcome Center, Mix It, Make It, Celebrate It!, Party for the Senses Sunday Brunch with the Chef, Sunday Brunch with the Chef and others.  Prices vary per event and advanced reservations are highly recommended as these events fill up quickly.

The Electric Umbrella hosted by Coca-Cola® is a quick service stop that features burgers, chicken breast nuggets, desserts and soft drinks. Guests can dine inside or outside, and prices range from $14.99 and under per adult.

Looking for healthy food to go? The Land Cart offers a delightful selection of fruit and cheese or veggie plates, hummus or Mickey pretzels. Guests can also purchase frozen carbonated beverages, draft beer, juice or bottled water.

The World Showcase looks like a world’s fair and consists of eleven pavilions themed and dedicated to a different country. Below are the different countries represented along with the dining options.

United States of AmericaFried shrimp and French fries

The Liberty Inn hosted by Coca-Cola® is a Colonial-style eatery with American food such as hamburgers, chicken breast nuggets and salads. This quick service stop also offers vegetarian, gluten-friendly and kosher options. Prices range from $14.99 and under per adult.

The American Adventure includes Block & Hans, a quick-service restaurant that serves Mickey pretzels with cheese sauce, craft beers, and other beverages. Prices range from $14.99 and under per adult.

The Fife & Drum Tavern celebrates American food and serves turkey legs, popcorn, and the Mickey Shaped Pretzel. Guests can also enjoy root beer floats! Adult beverages, including beer and wine, are also available. Prices are below $14.99 and under per adult.

Funnel Cake offers several delicious toppings, including powdered sugar, chocolate syrup, and vanilla ice cream. Promenade Refreshments is quick service stop that sells lunch and dinner options, such as hot dogs, kettle chips, sodas, water, and beer. The Refreshment Port serves Traditional Poutine, which consists of French Fries, Beef Gravy and Cheese Curds. Guests can also enjoy Beef Brisket Poutine and Sweet Potato Poutine along with desserts such as Pineapple Soft-Serve Ice Cream.  Guests 21 and older can enjoy Pineapple Soft-Serve Ice Cream with Bacardi Coconut Rum!  The Refreshment Outpost serves hot dogs, chips or ice cream along with soft drinks, slushes, coffee and tea.

The new Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue allows guests to step inside a smokehouse celebrating the regions of American backyard barbecue and craft beers.

Japan

Guests can listen to the sound of distant taiko drums as they dine at the Katsura Grill. This quick service menu includes teriyaki, sushi, chicken cutlet curry, and salads. Guests 21 and over can enjoy draft beer, sake and plum wine.

The Kabuki Café offers refreshing Japanese snacks, such as ootsumami-style sushi, edamame, kakigōri (shaved ice), as well as assorted Japanese sodas & beer, plum wine and hot or cold sake. Prices are below $14.99 and under per adult.

Teppan Edo offers guests a front seat where Teppan chefs cook traditional Japanese dishes right at their table.  Guests can choose from steak, chicken, seafood and vegetable entrées, as well as teriyaki chicken, assorted sushi rolls, tempura and edamame. Reservations are recommended, and prices range from $15 to $34.99 per adult.

Tokyo Dining is a contemporary restaurant that offers traditional Japanese cuisine and views of the World Showcase Lagoon.  Guests can enjoy sashimi, grilled steaks, fresh fish, as well as Bento Box options.  Guests should try the chocolate ginger cake!  Those 21 and over can enjoy premium sake or imported Japanese beer. Reservations are recommended, and prices range from $15 to $34.99 per adult.

Morocco

The Spice Road Table offers a picturesque waterfront view while guests dine on Mediterranean small plates and specialty entrées. Their menu offers spicy garlic shrimp, fried calamari, beef and chicken skewers, and coriander-crusted rack of lamb. Those dining at night may have an opportunity to watch IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. Prices range from $15 to $34.99 per adult.

France

Chefs de France serves delicious French cuisine that includes beef tenderloin, classic onion soup and roasted duck with cherries. Guests 21 or over can pair their entrees with a wide selection of imported French wines.  The Chefs de France also offers some great desserts, including their signature crème brûlée and their famous profiteroles served with vanilla ice cream and warm chocolate sauce. Prices range from $15 to $34.99 per adult.

Guests can enjoy fine dining at Monsieur Paul, a gourmet restaurant serving classic French cuisine. This recently refurbished restaurant is located just upstairs from Les Chefs de France and features classic French architecture.  Their menu offers Grilled Beef Tenderloin, Bar Noir Écailles de Pommes de Terre (Black Sea Bass) along with a Pre-Fixe menu. Advance reservations are highly recommended, there is a minimum dress code, and prices range from $35 to $59.99 per adult

Guests can also enjoy quick service meals at Crepes des Chefs de France. Crepe flavors include plain sugar, chocolate, strawberry preserve and plain sugar topped with soft serve ice cream.  This cute shack also serves espresso or cappuccino. Prices range from $14.99 and under per adult.

An interlude at this charming bakery will lead to some sinfully sweet discoveries.

Les Vins des Chefs de France offers a wide selection of French wines, Champagne and specialty beverages. L'Artisan des Glaces is an artisanal French shop that sells handcrafted frozen treats, including ice cream and sorbet. Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie is a traditional French bakery that offers soups, salads, fresh baguette sandwiches, and pastries. Guests can also enjoy wine, champagne, beer and gourmet coffees. Prices at all of these quick stop locations range from $14.99 and under per adult.

United Kingdom

The Rose & Crown Dining Room is a family-friendly British pub that offers waterfront dining and lively entertainment.  Guests can enjoy fish and chips, bangers and mash, vegetable cottage pie along with desserts, such as sticky toffee pudding and a lemon scone. The UK Beer Cart is outside the Rose and Crown Pub & Dining Room.  Guests 12 and older can purchase seasoned house-made crisps, along with beer and hard cider. Prices ranges from $14.99 and under per adult.

The Yorkshire County Fish Shop offers hearty British fare that includes battered fish served with piping-hot chips.  Guests with a sweet tooth can try Victoria Sponge Cake filled with jam and buttercream. This fish shop also offers fountain beverages, water, and beer for those 21 and older.

Canada

Guests will feel like they are in a cozy cellar of a Canadian château when they dine at Le Cellier Steakhouse. This fine dining restaurant offers the “Le Cellier” filet mignon, the Kurobuta pork porterhouse, and Skuna Bay Canadian salmon. Guests dine under sweeping stone arches and flickering candle sconces.  Prices range from $35 to $59.99 per adult and reservations are highly recommended.

Popcorn in Canada is a quick service stop that offers popcorn, souvenir bucket, sodas, water and beers.

Mexico

La Hacienda de San Angel is a waterfront retreat that offers authentic Mexican cuisine and premium margaritas with Old World hospitality. This unique restaurant makes their own corn tortillas daily and also offers fresh salsas. Their menu includes a taco sampler, roasted sweet peppers and Queso Fundido, and a dish of warmed cheese with poblano peppers and sausage. La Cantina de San Angel is on the World Showcase Lagoon.  Their quick service menu includes tacos de barbacoa, empanadas con queso and guacamole.  Desserts include delicious churros and traditional fruit popsicles. San Angel Inn Restaurante is modeled after a 17th-century hacienda guests would see at the base of Mayan ruins. Guests will feel like they are dining in twilight at this unique Mexican restaurant. Guests can feel like a prince or princess when they visit the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. Guests can enjoy Storybook Dining in this medieval castle with cathedral ceilings and soaring archways. This is a character dining experience where guests can meet Ariel, Snow White, Cinderella, and other royalty.  This buffet-style restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  Prices range from $35 to $59.99 per adult and reservations are recommended.

Sign for Nine Dragons restaurant

Nine Dragons Restaurant serves contemporary Chinese cuisine. This beautiful restaurant features wood carvings, traditional lanterns and exquisite glass artwork. Guests can enjoy Cantonese, Mongolian, Szechuan, Hunan and Kiangche-style specialties. The menu also offers blackberry-jasmine iced tea, fruit smoothies, iced coffee and iced chai tea along with adult beverages. The Joy of Tea allows guests to choose from a wide selection of flavors of tea.  This quick service stop also has a snack menu which sells Curry Chicken Pocket, Pork and Vegetable Egg Rolls, and Mango Green Tea Smoothie among other fun foods. Prices ranges from $14.99 and under per adult.

Germany
