For all you foodies out there, attending a food festival at Walt Disney World is probably a dream come true. We couldn't agree more! Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is billed as, “A Spectacular Celebration of Global Cuisines, Music, & More” and is one of the most well-attended events of the year.
This year will be a special one for the festival as Disney World's longest festival run yet! To help make guests' experience magical as Disney World reopens after the closure due to COVID-19, they are starting the festival earlier than usual this year on July 15th with the festival continuing through the Fall.

2020 Special Event
Walt Disney World is doing their best to make this festival the show stopper this summer and Fall by extending the duration of the festival to begin in July (one month earlier than usual) and by bringing in other festival elements. The EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival was cut short due to the closure of the parks because of COVID-19 and Disney will include elements of that popular festival with this one.
Guests will be able to see the newest topiary, Remy, in the France pavilion and find Flower & Garden merchandise. For scavenger hunt fans, Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak scavenger hunt returns.
In order to accommodate proper physical distancing the popular music series “Eat to the Beat Concert Series” won't take place this year. However, there will still be plentiful music options at the America Gardens Theatre with local EPCOT entertainment such as Mariachi Cobre, the JAMMitors and more. These performances will be more frequent this year and spaced out throughout the day so more guests can enjoy them.

Eat to Beat Concert Series
Due to concerns with social distancing, the Eat to Beat Concert series will not take place this year.
A free concert series is available daily throughout the festival featuring a wide variety of genres and musicians. This takes place at the American Gardens Theater in Epcot's American Adventure Pavilion. There are typically a few different concerts each day, so you can attend several days in a row and enjoy different musical offerings at the concert series.

For a premium event, you can upgrade to the Eat to Beat Dinner Package to enjoy gourmet fare while enjoying the music.
Celebrity Meet & Greets and Book Signings
If you'd like to rub shoulders with celebrity chefs but don't want to pay for the premium events, meet-and-greets are the way to go. These events are popular, so make sure to arrive early in order to get a wristband and be admitted. Feel free to bring a cookbook or something else for the celebrity to sign.
Epcot Food & Wine Festival Merchandise
A wide variety of Epcot Food & Wine Festival Merchandise is available for purchase throughout the event including clothing, kitchenware, magnets, handbags, and even MagicBands. Since these are only available for a limited time, some of these items will go quickly.
