Pizza in Walt Disney World- Where to Find the Best Disney Pizza

When it comes to comfort foods, pizza is certainly at the top of many people’s lists. In fact, an extremely scientific poll I just looked up said that out of 1,000 people, 98% liked pizza and 43% said it was their favorite fast food, making it the 2nd most popular fast food. It’s no wonder the pizza options in Walt Disney World feel almost endless.

Call me crazy, but with how often I visit Walt Disney World, I’d love to try every single different slice of pizza and flatbread that Walt Disney World has to offer. On the way there, I did my research to find out all the different pizza options you have so you can plan out which pizza locations suit you. Let’s go over your pizza options at Walt Disney World.

For all the pizza aficionados out there, I chose to include places that sell traditional pizzas as well as flatbreads. So before you “at” me in the comments, you’ve been warned! Here is our full guide to pizza at Disney World!

Magic Kingdom – Pinocchio Village Haus

pizza Disney World

Starting at Magic Kingdom, there is now only one place to purchase pizza. Tony’s Town Square Restaurant used to offer Tony’s Pizza Pie, but that has since been taken away. Over at Pinocchio Village Haus, guests can choose from 4 different types of flatbreads and a plant-based “mozzarella cheese” pizza. In the past, there were also seasonal options that rotate throughout the year.

EPCOT Pizza Options

Over at EPCOT, options start to open up a little more for Disney World pizza, with both table-service and quick-service options available.

Connections Eatery

Disney World pizza

Connections Eatery offers fast food-style pizza with 3 options: pepperoni, cheese, and a margherita pizza. While this is your basic pizza that does the job, you do get a lot of pizza for what you pay – 2 Costco-sized slices. Come here with a big appetite.

Sunshine Seasons

Pizza EPCOT Disney World

Sunshine Seasons, located in the Land Pavilion, offers a giant tasty “pizza roll.” Make no mistake, this is a deceptively large food option that you’ll likely want to share. The advantage to this particular option is that it’s portable and easy to snack on when you’re on-the-go.

Via Napoli Restaurante e Pizzeria

Many would argue that Via Napoli serves the best pizza in Walt Disney World, hands down. While I’ve been to Via Napoli and basked in the glory of their pizza, there are still other places I need to try before saying such things. With that said, Via Napoli certainly offers one of the most authentic pizza experiences in all of Walt Disney World.

Via Napoli offers high-quality, classic Neapolitan pizzas. This means that the base of the pizza is thin and heaps of toppings are added to the pizza before being cooked in a traditional wood-burning brick oven. This gives the traditional Italian pizzas a crisp, smoky taste.

If your mouth isn’t watering already, guests have a variety of pizzas to choose from, ranging from traditional recipes to more adventurous ones. A crowd favorite is the Prosciutto e Melone, featuring – you guessed it – prosciutto and cantaloupe.

It’s worth noting that these high-quality pizzas do come at a “high quality” price. While they tend to be pricier than other options in Walt Disney World, one whole pizza can actually feed the entire family!

Pizza al Taglio

Directly next to Via Napoli is Pizza al Taglio, a window-service pizzeria. Literally translating to “pizza by the cut,” Pizza al Taglio serves Sicilian-style slices of pizza. These square, thick crusted pizzas are very different from the thin-curst pizzas guests experience at Via Napoli. Additionally, slices are limited to pepperoni and margherita.

The catch? Pizza al Taglio is only open on rare occasions, so it may or may not be open during your visit to Walt Disney World. Be on the lookout whenever you’re in Italy Pavilion!

Disney’s Hollywood Studios Pizza Options

Tower of Terror Pizza Disney World

Next up on our journey is Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which has limited but fun options for pizza.

PizzeRizzo

PizzeRizzo Pizza Disney World

When it comes to themed restaurants, who doesn’t want to dine with everyone’s favorite Muppets rat? In all seriousness, PizzeRizzo is a fun pizzeria that Muppets fans are sure to enjoy walking through at least once when visiting Walt Disney World.

While the pizzas are standard personal-sized pies, the theming makes PizzeRizzo standout. Make sure to walk up to the second story dubbed “Rizzo’s Deluxe Supreme Banquet Hall “ – you never know what kind of party you’ll find in progress!

Catalina Eddies

Pizza Disney World

Located down Sunset Boulevard, Catalina Eddie’s is one of the counter service window options that make up Sunset Ranch Market. Quick service dishes include pizza and salad. Similar to PizzeRizzo, the pizza here is nothing to write home about, it may be a good option to settle stomachs after riding any of the nearby thrilling attractions!

Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano

Pizza Disney World

The only table-service restaurant at Disney’s Hollywood Studios that offers pizza, Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano is tucked away in the back corner of Muppet Courtyard, past PizzeRizzo.

Pizza on this menu is very limited, with a margherita flatbread and an allergy-friendly carne dItalia flatbread available. However, like PizzeRizzo, what makes this restaurant shine is its bold and bright decor and family-friendly, casual atmosphere.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Pizza Disney World

In our journey around Walt Disney World, we’re now heading over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, where pizza options are even more limited than at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Understandably so though, given its theming.

Terra Treats Pizza Slices

Pizza Disney World

While exploring the theme park, guests can snack on a slice of pizza at this quick service restaurant. just across from Starbucks as you cross the bridge to Africa. Guests have the choice of cheese or pepperoni, which are cooked in a deep dish, almost pan-style way.

Pizzafari

Pizza Disney World

The only other pizza option is at Pizzafari, a counter-service restaurant whose menu largely consists of (surprise, surprise) pizza! As guests first walk into the restaurant, the first thing they notice is its vibrant decor. From murals on the wall to the design of the building it self, Pizzafari is surely a fun explosion of color.

Pizzafari offers both deep dish and flatbread style pizza at a reasonable price. Guests also have the option of gluten-free and plant-based pizzas. Like Terra Treats Pizza Slices, the pizza offered here is nothing to write home about, but if you need something quick to snack on while on your way to your next adventure, this may be a good option for you.

Walt Disney World Resorts

Pizza Disney World

With the theme parks out of the way, let’s move on to everything offered at the resorts before finishing our journey at Disney Springs. Remember, guests don’t have to be staying at the resorts to enjoy the food offered there! However, transportation options to get to each resort are often limited since resort parking lots are usually reserved for guests staying there or guests with dining reservations.

Walt Disney World Resort Fast-Food Style Locations

Pizza Disney World

Before jumping into the “specialty” pizza spots, let’s go over what’s offered inside many of the resorts on Walt Disney World property. Each resort has their own fast-food style service location that serves pizza among other comfort foods.

The Value and Moderate resorts all tend to have the same type of pizza. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s certainly reliable and enough to quench your hunger at the end of a long park day. The Deluxe resorts also have their own fast-food style locations, with the major difference being that each Deluxe resort offers its own unique flatbread recipe. Like the Value and Moderate resorts, quality is similar across the board.

Pizza Window at Disney’s BoardWalk Villas

Boardwalk Villas

Over at the BoardWalk nestled among its many food options is Pizza Window, a to-go kiosk that serves single slices of pizza. While flavors are basic (and we’re not going to lie, it ranks low on many people’s lists here), guests can still get a good quality slice of pizza. After a long day at EPCOT or Disney’s Hollywood studios, swinging by the Pizza Window is a great option to quench your hunger. If you’re looking for higher quality pizza though, all you have to do is walk a few doors down to Trattoria al Forno.

Trattoria al Forno at Disney’s BoardWalk Villas

Boardwalk Villas Disney World

Other than the pizza, the major difference between trattoria al Forno and Pizza Window is that the latter is a table service restaurant, requiring guests to reserve beforehand or to join the walk-up list. Here, pizza is served for both breakfast and dinner and is baked in wood-burning ovens. The best part of this restaurant? This is the only place in Walt Disney World where guests can get a Mickey-shaped pizza!

Ale & Compass at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort

Just a hop and a skip away from the BoardWalk is Ale & Compass, a table-service restaurant offering a gastropub ambience with New England-inspired comfort food. Here, guests can get a fun take on pizza. For breakfast, guests can order the breakfast flatbread, featuring a sunny-side up egg, applewood-smoked bacon, ham, provolone, and arugula. For adventurous eaters looking for a good breakfast option, this may be for you!

Il Mulino New York Trattoria at Walt Disney World Swan Hotel

A second location to the original Il Mulino New York in Greenwich Village, this restaurant offers rich, authentic flavors inside its rustic decor. Arguably one of the best Italian restaurants in all of Walt Disney World, Il Mulino offers a wide array of pizzas sure to meet almost anyone’s palette. From the margherita pizza to the quattro formaggi, featuring 4 types of cheeses, marinated artichoke, roasted garlic, and arugula, you likely won’t go wrong with anything here.

Amare at Walt Disney World Swan Hotel

Disney World Pizza

The last of the pizza options at the EPCOT resorts, Amare offers a casual upscale venue inspired by Mediterranean culture and food. With that in mind, it should come as no surprise that they serve a variety of flatbreads here, but with a more Mediterranean flavor as opposed to traditional Italian recipes.

Territory Lounge at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is a must-visit for Walt Disney World guests, for the ambience, food, and drink. Among the varied drink menu at Territory Lounge, guests can find a loaded baked potato flatbread, featuring bacon, potato, cream cheese, and dill. Talk about a unique blend of flavors for a flatbread!

Jiko – The Cooking Place at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

Jiko Pizza Disney World

It can be easy to get lost in the eclectic food options and the biggest collection of African wines at Walt Disney World (or anywhere, really)! However, Jiko does have a standout appetizer on their menu. The Duck Confit and Honey-Raisin Flatbread boasts such great flavor, with its preserved duck, rocket, toasted chickpeas, mozzarella, plump raisins, harissa, and spiced honey. Come here for the ambience, definitely stay here for the food and drink.

California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

California Grill is known for its high quality food with a priceless rooftop-view of Walt Disney World, but did you know that they also offer pizza on their menu? On their 3-course menu, guests can choose from two types of pizza: the Rapini Pizza features broccoli rapini, candied bacon, and piquillo pepper coulis while the Sardinian Pizza features house-made Italian sausage, Ras el Hanout squash, smoked mozzarella, and spiced agave syrup. Talk about eclectic flavor.

Disney Springs

Disney Springs

Alas, we’ve reached the final leg of our Walt Disney World pizza journey. However, just because we’re near the end doesn’t mean the great pizza options are over!

Earl of Sandwich

In all honesty, I didn’t realize that Earl of Sandwich sold pizza until I looked it up! In my defense, when I go to Earl of Sandwich, I go with the intention of getting one of their tasty sandwiches. With that said, they do offer a cheese or pepperoni pizza, as well as pizza bread for the kids!

Splitsville Bowling Alley

While most guests know Splitsville Bowling Alley for its bowling or its outdoor bar, not enough know about its tasty food options. In addition to the variety of sushi options (which are pretty darn good in its own right), their pizza is quite tasty – and fairly popular among patrons! Choose from 7 different pizzas from pepperoni to veggie to their Killer Bee: mozzarella, pepperoni, mushroom, basil, and Mike’s Hot Honey. A killer combo if we do say so ourselves…

Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill

Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill is a solid table-service restaurant that often isn’t busy (in Walt Disney World standards). Believe or not, in addition to their other tasty foods, they do serve pizza here for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Guests also have lots of pizza options to choose from, so you can’t really go wrong.

Terralina Crafted Italian Restaurant

Terralina Crafted Italian Restaurant, tucked in a popular corner of Disney Springs, features an open kitchen and outdoor veranda bar. Serving authentic Italian food, it should come as no surprise that they also sell good quality authentic pizza. Their pizza features a crispy thin crust with lots of options for toppings. A non-traditional option they have is the pizza fries, which are french fries topped with creamy cheese sauce and salami.

Pizza Ponte Square

Nestled inside Maria and Enzo’s (but technically a separate restaurant), Pizza Ponte Square offers Sicilian-style pizza by the slice. With a thicker, more bread-y style, the pizzas here are massive. They also offer plenty of options for toppings. Need a huge slice of crispy pizza at a lower price point? Look no further.

Blaze Pizza

At Walt Disney World, no pizza-list is complete without mentioning Blaze Pizza. There’s a good reason why Orlando locals keep coming back here. At Blaze Pizza, guests get to design their own personal pizza, from crust, to sauce, to toppings (with over 40 toppings, cheeses, and sauce to choose from). The pizzas here are also cooked in an authentic fire pizza oven to get a crisp pizza base. Like Pizza Ponte, pizzas here are also very affordable – arguably one of the best bang-for-your-buck meals in Walt Disney World. For those who would like to pass on designing their own pizza, Blaze also offers a variety of pre-determined pizza recipes you can select and enjoy.

Final Thoughts on Pizza at Walt Disney World

Like other types of foods, there is a variety of pizza options at Walt Disney World, from classic and authentic recipes to eclectic, fun flavors – some better than others. Whatever your palette yearns for, when it comes to pizza, there will be something for you!

Keep in mind, some of these options do require advanced dining reservations, so be sure to check the Walt Disney World website to stay up-to-date.
