EPCOT Fireworks 2025: Best Viewing Tips for Luminous Plus Dining Package Info

EPCOT does not have the same traditional fireworks spectaculars as you often see over at Magic Kingdom but they do have nighttime shows that include fireworks. These nighttime shows take place on the World Showcase lagoon and often incorporate projections, fireworks, lasers, and more. There are reserved viewing areas available with the purchase of a dining package along with standby viewing along the World Showcase. Our guide will discuss the EPCOT fireworks including the newest show, Luminous, along with how to get the best seats.

EPCOT has seen a few variations of nighttime spectaculars in the past years with the current show, “Luminous: The Symphony of Us” taking the place of the prior Harminonous and EPCOT Forever shows.

Let's discuss Luminous plus all the available dining packages and best tips for seeing the EPCOT fireworks shows.

This article has been checked for accuracy for 2025 and updated with all currently available information.

Luminous: The Symphony of Us

EPCOT Fireworks

The EPCOT fireworks show called “Luminous: The Symphony of Us” was created in honor of the Walt Disney Company 100th Anniversary Celebration which mainly took place at EPCOT. Now that the celebration is over, the show still remains which is great news for EPCOT fans as this is a far superior show to the prior Harminonous show!

Luminous: The Symphony of Us show features fireworks, fountains, lasers, lighting effects, and brand-new music. The musical composition features select songs from the “Disney Songbook” that remind guests that “we're more alike than different, connecting our hearts together as one.”

In addition to the show's dazzling visuals, its theme is how “each of our unique melodies comes together to form a great symphony.”

The show contains a series of movements, like a piece of music, that represent life experiences we have in common. Luminous: The Symphony of Us includes two original songs written specifically for the show as well as arrangements of familiar Disney songs. Music plays a major role in this show, and Disney Live Entertainment worked with composer Pinar Toprak on the show's score. The choir of vocal talent for the score includes singer/songwriter Sheléa and Katharine McPhee.

The show begins with voices from each pavilion welcoming guests, then the first song is the original “Heartbeat Symphony,” a “sweeping ballad” that kicks off the spectacular.

The show also explores the love of parenthood, highlighting childhood moments and a multilingual arrangement of “You'll Be in My Heart.” Then, the show transitiosn into “Proud Corazón” as it goes into a movement dedicated to the bonds of family. The show also explores friendship, with beloved songs like “You've Got a Friend in Me” and “Friend Like Me.”

An arrangement of “So Close” from Disney's Enchanted accompanies the romance movement that celebrates “when we find someone with whom our melody blends.”

The show then dives into the experience of loneliness and loss, with songs like “When She Loved Me” and “Remember Me” leading into “Into the Unknown” as a message of strength to remind us that we're never truly alone.

The beautiful “I See the Light” from Tangled brings the show to its finale, where the second original song “Beating of our Hearts” is featured, bringing the audience together as we “find our place in the great symphony of life.” This is my favorite part of the show!

What Time Are EPCOT Fireworks?

The nighttime EPCOT spectaculars always take place at 9 p.m. on the World Showcase Lagoon.

Where to Watch EPCOT Fireworks?

EPCOT World Showcase

Since the EPCOT fireworks take place over the World Showcase Lagoon, this allows for plenty of opportunities to watch the show! Here are a few of our favorite spots. See the map below for our spot rankings and their descriptions:

#1: Between the two gift shops facing World Showcase

The best pot is located near the entrance to the World Showcase between the two gift shops. Some speculate this is how the show was designed with this viewing area as the focal point. But a better indication of why this area is considered the best is it was previously a spot where guests could reserve spots with the old skip the line systems (now called Lightning Lane Multi Pass) or with dessert parties. For now, you simply need to just arrive early to get a good spot since there are no dessert parties nor advance reservations required for this viewing area.

This is a centered area viewing spot and the area is a bit elevated as you move back from the rail. Every spot in this area is a good spot! This is my favorite place to watch the EPCOT fireworks. You can see my view from where we watched during our last visit, we walked up about 20 minutes prior to the show to get this spot. If you want to be right on the rail, be sure to arrive at least an hour beforehand.

#2: France/UK Bridge

There is a bridge between the France and United Kingdom pavilion which is a popular viewing area for the EPCOT fireworks. Guests will start camping out here far in advance of the show due to the unobstructed view. Keep in mind how crowded this spot can be, if you do not want to be in a large, close-quarters crowd then finding another spot might be better.

#3: Mitsukoshi Department Store

This is another popular spot especially if you want a good view for photos. The Mitsukoshi Department Store has a second story that overlooks the World Showcase Lagoon. This area will fill up as it's also become pretty popular!

#4: Mexico Pavilion

The Mexico pavilion also offers plenty of unobstructed viewing so guests can grab a spot anywhere in this area for a good viewing opportunity.

Other Viewing Areas

Honestly, there are so many places around the World Showcase Lagoon to grab a good viewing spot. Some other easy areas are the path from Mexico to Norway, the Canada pavilion, and areas around China to Germany. The benefit of this show being essentially in the middle of the lagoon is you can easily walk up and get a spot anywhere!

EPCOT Fireworks Dining Packages

If you do not want to spend time waiting for a spot and like the idea of having a chair for the show, then an EPCOT fireworks dessert package is a good option!

There are two restaurants at EPCOT that include viewing during the show. These dining packages offer a table and chair to sit at and you dine while you enjoy the EPCOT fireworks. Rose & Crown offers one of the best views on their outside patio that overlooks the World Showcase Lagoon in the United Kingdom Pavilion. The Spice Road Table offers a covered, outdoor patio overlooking the World Showcase Lagoon. Views here often vary on how close you are to the railing.
