Disneyland Lunar New Year 2020 Entertainment

Mulan stands next to Mushu and waves to Guests

Mulan is a designated honoree of the event. Her Lunar New Year Procession occurs several times throughout the day near Goofy's Sky School.  The parade features beautiful costumes, and exotic music as performers dance in observance to the New Year.  Mulan, side-kick Mushu, and special guest Three Little Pigs, all clap along with the procession. This is a fun little show in the style of Viva Navidad, one of my favorite Disneyland Christmas offerings.

And, near Paradise Garden Grill, several other Disney friends are on hand to usher in the Disneyland Lunar New Year. Pose for photos with Chip and Dale, or say hi to Mickey and Minnie, all dressed in vibrant, traditional Asian Lunar New Year costumes.

And, Mulan concludes the day with “Hurry Home- Lunar New Year Celebration”. This six-minute prelude show to the nightly World of Color presentation tells the story of a little lantern attempting to reunite with his family but trickster Mushu tries to distract him.

For all of the Disneyland Lunar New Year 2020 entertainment offerings be sure to check the official Disneyland events calendar and see the Lunar Year 2020 guide upon arrival.
