Universal Hollywood Annual Passes

Secret Life of Pets attraction

There are four different types of passes – California Neighbor Pass, Silver Annual Pass, Gold Annual Pass, and Platinum Annual Pass. Each Annual Pass will grant you admission into the theme park for an entire year, while the seasonal pass will grant you admission for 9 months.

California Neighbor Pass

While the name may be confusing, the California Neighbor Pass is NOT for California residents only. This pass is available to everyone!

The California Neighbor Pass is the cheapest of all the Universal Studios Hollywood passes. The price of this pass is $189 at the Front Gate. However, if you purchase your pass online, you will save $10, making your California Neighbor pass only $179. After purchasing your pass, you will select a date for your first visit.

While the other passes are Annual Passes and allow you entrance into the theme park for an entire year, the California Neighbor Pass is a seasonal pass. With this pass, you will have access to the theme park for 9 months. Blackout Dates do apply to this pass and reservations may be required for return visits. Even so, after your first visit, you will have over 150 days for return visits. Over 15 of those days are weekend days!

Since the California Neighbor Pass is the cheapest, as expected, it does come with less benefits than the Universal Studios Hollywood Annual Passes. Even so, it does come with some perks!

California Neighbor Pass Benefits

  • Invitations to Special Events
  • Discounts on General Admission for Friends and Family
  • Sweepstakes Opportunities
  • Discounted Halloween Horror Nights tickets
  • 10-15% discounts at participating CityWalk locations

Silver Annual Pass

The Silver Annual Pass is also the first pass to offer FlexPay! FlexPay gives you the option to make low monthly payments towards the total of your Annual Pass as opposed to making the complete payment at purchase. For this pass, payments are less than $9 each month!

After making your purchase, you will select the date of your first visit. As a Silver Annual Passholder, you will have Blackout Dates that you will need to schedule around. Reservations may also be required for your return visits. Even with Blackout Dates, when you have a Silver Annual Pass, you will have over 275 days for return visits, with over 50 of those days being weekends.

Since this pass is an annual pass, you will have an entire year (12 months) to benefit from it. There are also additional benefits that come with the purchase of a Universal Studios Hollywood Silver Annual Pass.

Silver Annual Pass Benefits

  • Invitations to Special Events
  • Discounts on General Admission for Friends and Family
  • Sweepstakes Opportunities
  • Discounted Halloween Horror Nights tickets

FlexPay options are also available for this pass! By opting to use FlexPay, you can purchase your Gold Annual Pass for less than $14 per month.

Once you’ve purchased your pass, you can select a date for your first visit. With a Gold Annual Pass, you will also have Blackout Dates to plan around. You also may be required to make reservations for your return visits. As a Gold Annual Passholder, you will still have many dates to choose from for your return visits, even with the Blackout Dates. With your pass, you will have over 325 days to plan return visits. Over 75 of these days are weekends. Since this is an annual pass, you will have a full 12 months to enjoy Universal Studios Hollywood.

After completing your purchase, you’ll be able to select the date of your visit. With a Platinum Annual Pass, you’ll have an entire year to enjoy Universal Studios Hollywood. The best part?
