Previously rustic log cabins, The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort have been replaced with stylish woodland getaways for Disney Vacation Club Members. DVC Members can enjoy beautiful sights and unique recreation without sacrificing the high-standards that have come to be expected with Disney Vacation Club.

There is currently only one cabin type at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. These cabins, which are exclusively for Disney Vacation Club Members, are 1 Bedroom Cabins. Guests staying at the cabins have access to all of the standard Walt Disney World Resort hotel amenities and recreation, such as pools, dining options, transportation, and Early Theme Park Entry.

Additionally, these 1 Bedroom Cabins are equipped with a 55” flat screen TV, 65” flat screen TV, iron and ironing board, laptop-sized safe, patio deck, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, telephone with voicemail, toiletries, and a hairdryer. The cabins also have full kitchens. Within the kitchens, Guests are provided with a coffee maker, dishwasher, microwave, oven/range, toaster, and a refrigerator with an ice maker.

Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue food

There are a number locations where Guests can choose to dine at The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. Available options include snacks, quick-service meals, full service meals, grab-and-go foods, desserts, and a musical dinner show.

  • The Chuck Wagon – The Chuck Wagon serves up delicious snacks near Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long. Rather than a food truck, these quick-service options are served out of a camper. Items that can be purchased here include foods such as hot dogs, Mickey-shaped pretzels, popcorn, and a s’mores kits for the campfire. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are also available.
  • Crockett’s Tavern – Light bites and delicious alcoholic beverages can be found at Crockett’s Tavern. Guests can choose to enjoy time in the lounge or order to-go drinks at the walk-up window. Cocktails, beers, and wines are available, along with foods such as sliders, sandwiches, charcuterie, and desserts.
  • Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue – The Pioneer Hall Players put on an energetic musical show for Guests as they sit back, relax, and enjoy a bountiful all-you-care-to-enjoy dinner.
  • Meadow Snack Bar – Located near the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool, this counter-service restaurant offers snacks, desserts, and small meals. Beer, Cider, Wine, and Moonshine Cocktails are also available here.
  • Trail’s End Restaurant – Trail’s End Restaurant offers delicious foods for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Here, Guests can find exactly what they’re looking for with a number of family meals, snacks, salads, sandwiches, pastries, desserts, and more.

Transportation

The main source of transportation for The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort are the Disney buses. However, Guests can also get to select locations on boats.

Guests can also take a boat to get to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge or Disney’s Contemporary Resort. From Disney’s Contemporary Resort, the monorail can be used to get to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Magic Kingdom, and EPCOT.

In order to get to other Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Guests must first take a bus to Disney Springs and then transfer over to the resort bus of their choice.

There are two pool areas at The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort – Meadow Swimmin’ Pool and Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool.

The Meadow Swimmin’ Pool is the main pool of the resort. In this area, experienced swimmers can shoot down a 67-foot long corkscrew waterslide into the pool. Little ones can also enjoy their own miniature water slides in the nearby fort-themed water play area. A whirlpool spa is available for those who are looking for a more relaxing experience.

Quieter pool time can be had over at the Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool. This area includes a leisure pool for Guests of all ages as well as a whirlpool spa.
