Branch & Brush joins the previously announced dining locations at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge:

- Bay Lake Provisions, a quick service restaurant
- Paint Out Point Bar & Grill, a poolside hangout serving drinks and light bites

New Look at Hotel Lobby Inspired by Pocahontas

In revealing Branch & Brush, Disney shared a new look at the Lakeshore Lodge lobby, above. This follows the previously shared lobby artwork below.

The lobby’s ornamentation will be inspired by 1995’s Pocahontas. A fiberoptic river will flow through the floor. Adapting the visuals from the song “Colors of the Wind,” a blown glass sculpture of leaves will hang overhead.
Pocahontas also inspired the hotel’s water recreation, which is so extensive it practically amounts to a mini water park. Lakeshore Lodge will be one of the only Disney World hotels with a lazy river. See more from Lakeshore Lodge’s pools and recreation.
Different room types at Lakeshore Lodge will take cues from not only Pocahontas, but also the Disney animated films Fantasia, Bambi, Brother Bear, and Encanto. See all the room types and lakehouses with renderings of each style.
New Lounges at Disney World

The past decade has seen lounges become more commonplace throughout Disney’s theme parks and hotels. The trend may have started with the opening of the incredible Nomad Lounge at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in 2016.
Disney World is currently celebrating the opening of two new lounges. Hurly-Burly opened at Disney’s BoardWalk on October 1, 2026. It operates as a family-friendly space with trivia and bingo in the afternoons, and as an adults-only lounge with live music during late-night hours. See the full Hurly-Burly menu here.
The Diamond Horseshoe Pop-Up will open at Magic Kingdom on October 4 as a limited-time lounge, repurposing a saloon-inspired entertainment venue that’s been something of a flex space in recent years. See the full Diamond Horseshoe Pop-Up menu here.
