The Diamond Horseshoe Pop-Up Coming to Magic Kingdom

The Diamond Horseshoe, a saloon-like venue, has been open at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World since the park opened in 1971. It was originally home to The Diamond Horse Revue, a live variety show. In recent years, The Diamond Horseshoe has hosted an all-you-care-to-enjoy table service meal, without live entertainment, sharing an identical menu of homestyle favorites with Liberty Tree Tavern next door.
This past summer, The Diamond Horseshoe paused its dining services to make room for Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Revue!, a new entertainment offering as part of Cool KIDS’ SUMMER. Guests join Jessie, Woody, and Bullseye from Toy Story for live music and dancing. The Diamond Horseshoe is open for most of the day, and guests can come and go as they please.

The final day to see Jessie’s Roundup will be September 8, 2026. From September 9 through October 3, The Diamond Horseshoe will be closed. Starting on October 4, The Diamond Horseshoe will debut what Disney is calling a “pop-up” experience with a new menu. See all the food and drinks below.
The Diamond Horseshoe Pop-Up will operate as a table service restaurant, serving small plates and specialty drinks. See the full menu below. This is an interesting deviation from this restaurant’s previous all-you-care-to-enjoy format.
Lounges and bar-like spaces have become popular at Disney World theme parks in recent years. Just last year, Magic Kingdom welcomed The Beak and Barrel, a bar themed to Pirates of the Caribbean. GEO-82 also opened at EPCOT last year, and favorites like BaseLine Tap House at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Nomad Lounge at Disney’s Animal Kingdom are big hits with guests. With The Diamond Horseshoe Pop-Up, Disney may be testing the waters for another permanent “light bites and drinks” venue for Magic Kingdom.
Prospective diners can make reservations starting September 29. Disney has not announced how long The Diamond Horseshoe Pop-Up will last, just that it will only be around for a limited time.
The Diamond Horseshoe Pop-Up does not affect Liberty Tree Tavern next door, which continues to serve its all-you-care-to-enjoy platters.
