Disneyland Halloween Returning Offerings

Main Street Pumpkin

The celebration will include returning offerings like the iconic Halloween decor across the resort, the “Halloween Screams” nighttime spectacular, and Disneyland’s Happiest Haunts Guided Tour that includes Multi Pass Lightning Lane access to a select attraction and reserved viewing for “Halloween Screams.”

Halloween overlays of attractions will also be returning, including the fan-favorite Haunted Mansion Holiday in Disneyland Park and Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween, Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree, and Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark in Disney California Adventure. And, of course, the celebration will feature a variety of Disneyland Halloween-themed foods, including returning favorites and new treats. Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit, a scavenger hunt for Disney-themed pumpkins, will take place across the resort. Plaza de la Familia, honoring Día de los Muertos, will also be returning to Disney California Adventure.

Disneyland also just announced the ticket sale dates for the Disneyland Oogie Boogie Bash parties this year. See all of the 2025 Disneyland Oogie Boogie Bash tickets info and dates here. There were no new additions announced for the Oogie Boogie Bash parties, which we are a little disappointed about. While there is enough demand for this offering that there is no need to make any changes, Disney did hint at some interesting potential changes and additions in a survey released last year. There technically is still a possibility that they will drop an announcement about new offerings later on, but there is nothing new shared as of right now. That being said, there will likely be at least some new characters added, as they usually introduce some new villains each year to the Oogie Boogie Bash Treat Trails, like they did most recently for Hades and Dr. Doofensmirtz.

This year, Mickey and friends will have new Halloween looks featuring purple, green, and orange colors. These are a twist on their 70th anniversary outfits! We always love the cute Halloween looks that Disneyland puts together for the characters each year. It’s such a fun element that adds to the great atmosphere of the celebration!

Disney Pixar Coco Collection

There will be a new Disney Pixar Coco Collection available this year that will feature new apparel, accessories, headwear, and more inspired by the film. This will be released in early September! We really loved the Coco collection that was released for Plaza de la Familia last year (pictured above). Disney hasn’t shared a look at this new merchandise collection quite yet.

There will also be other special merchandise available, including the return of the Mickey Mouse Family Halloween Collection. More Halloween collections will be revealed at a later date.

NEW Villain-Inspired Cocktail Menu

Broken Spell Lounge space

The Broken Spell Lounge at the Disneyland Hotel will feature a cocktail menu themed to Disney Villains for the first time! This sounds like so much fun, and we’re excited to see what these drinks look like. Disney has been really leaning into the popularity of villains across all of its experiences lately, with the just-opened Disney Villains Unfairly Ever After show at Disney Hollywood Studios, a Villains Land in the works for Magic Kingdom, and a heroes and villains theme for its new Disney Destiny cruise ship.

In addition to this new offering, guests at the Disneyland Resort hotels can also enjoy other special perks during the Halloween celebration, including treat trails on select afternoons, the option to buy a Halloween-themed in-room celebration, and special offerings at Disney’s Grand Californian, including pumpkin carvers, a confectionery display in the lobby, and Halloween-inspired treatments at Tenaya Stone Spa.

Select 70th Entertainment Stays

Paint the Night parade return

Lastly, during the Halloween celebration, there will be some 70th anniversary entertainment offerings that will stick around. The “Paint the Night” parade, “World of Color Happiness!,” “Tapestry of Happiness” projections on “it’s a small world,” and 70th updates to Toy Story Midway Mania will all stay. Some of the attractions and areas around the resort will keep their 70th anniversary decor, like the castle sculpture in the esplanade.

By their omission from the list, Disney confirmed that Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration parade and Wondrous Journeys will not continue into Halloween time.

The MagicBand+ interaction points and Key to Disneyland experience will also remain available during the Halloween celebration. These were two experiences that we really loved out of all of the Disneyland 70th anniversary offerings.

We assume that these same offerings will also continue into Christmas at Disneyland have no details on that yet.

Recent Additions You Likely Don’t Know About

Coco Disneyland

In addition to these changes to the Halloween celebration at Disneyland, there were a few additions as of last year that are returning once again! You may have missed these newer offerings last year.

At Storytellers Cafe, “Mickey’s Autumn Adventures” debuted last year, which is an autumn-themed character dining experience with characters in seasonal attire. This offering was introduced as part of a larger initiative over the past couple of years to introduce seasonal themes to character dining experiences across the resort.

Another returning change is that the interactive show “Mickey’s Trick and Treat” will be returning to the Disney Theater. Last year, this was introduced to Disney California Adventure as a daytime seasonal offering. This will temporarily replace the recently debuted “Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!” during the fall season.

And lastly, the Plaza de la Familia show that was reimagined last year, “The Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia Celebrate The Musical World of Coco,” returns again this fall as part of the Coco at Disneyland Plaza de la Familia celebration. The show, highlighting the everlasting bonds of family, features song, dance, and the figure of Miguel, as well as representations of the spirit guides Dante and Pepita.
