Lightning Lane Multi Pass at Disneyland

Space Mountain boarding at Disneyland

Disneyland's line-skipping service was previously known as FastPass and MaxPass before it was replaced by the paid service Genie+, and it has now been renamed Lightning Lane Multi Pass. You can purchase the service in advance with your tickets for $32 per person or purchase it on the day of your visit (with variable pricing) through the Disneyland app once you have entered a park.

The service includes over 20 popular attractions at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, along with unlimited Disneyland PhotoPass downloads. These are the rides that are included with Lightning Lane Multi Pass at each park:

Disneyland Park

  • Autopia
  • Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
  • Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters
  • Haunted Mansion
  • Indiana Jones Adventure
  • “it's a small world”
  • Matterhorn Bobsleds
  • Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway
  • Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
  • Pirates of the Caribbean (temporary)
  • Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin
  • Space Mountain
  • Star Tours – The Adventures Continue
  • Tiana's Bayou Adventure

Disney California Adventure

  • Goofy's Sky School
  • Grizzly River Run
  • Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!
  • Incredicoaster
  • The Little Mermaid – Ariel's Undersea Adventure
  • Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!
  • Soarin' Around the World
  • Toy Story Midway Mania!
  • WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure

You can book Lightning Lane entry once per attraction each day with Lightning Lane Multi Pass. To redeem your selection, you'll scan your Lightning Lane reservation code at the entrance to the attraction. If you want to ride an attraction more than once in a day, you need to use the standby or Single Rider line, or you can redeem a Multiple Experiences Pass (which is what you receive if a ride breaks down) for entry. You can book a new Lightning Lane reservation once every two hours or once you have redeemed one. If you have purchased a park hopper ticket, you can book a Lightning Lane at the other park after the return times have passed 11 am (when park hopping is allowed).

If you want to change your Lightning Lane return window, you can use the “modify plan” option to look for other times without needing to cancel your original window. See how we use this trick to get the Lightning Lane we want almost every time.

One person can be in charge of Lightning Lane selections for their entire group, as long as their tickets are linked in the Disneyland app. When you go to make a Lightning Lane reservation, you can select and deselect the members of your party experiencing the attraction. This means that you can make a reservation for everyone, just yourself, or other people in your group without personally going on the ride.

Lightning Lane Multi Pass does not include Rise of the Resistance and Radiator Springs Racers. To experience these rides, you will need to purchase Lightning Lane Single Pass, which is a separate per-person cost for entry for each of these two rides. These two systems do not interact with one another, and you can hold a Lightning Lane Single Pass reservation and Lightning Lane Multi Pass reservation simultaneously. See our guide to Lightning Lane Single Pass tips & pricing for more details.

If a ride breaks down during the time you have a Lightning Lane return window booked for it, you will get a Multiple Experience Pass that you can use on other attractions in the park. These do not have the same one-ride-per-attraction restriction that regular Lightning Lanes booked through Lightning Lane Multi Pass do, so you can use these to experience your favorites more than once. If you get a Multiple Experience Pass for one of the “top tier” attractions at each park, you will be able to redeem it for entry to any other Lightning Lane Multi Pass attraction.
