Walt Disney World’s restaurants are often as noteworthy as the resort’s theme park attractions. That is certainly the case as Disney’s fanciest dining location makes headlines again for a prestigious accolade: retaining a MICHELIN Star, “awarded to restaurants using top quality ingredients, where dishes with distinct flavors are prepared to a consistently high standard,” as described by the MICHELIN Guide.

Grand Floridian Restaurant Retains MICHELIN Star

In 2024, the MICHELIN Guide awarded a Star rating to Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in Walt Disney World. This marked the first theme park restaurant in the U.S. to receive a MICHELIN Star.
Victoria & Albert’s has now retained the Star rating for 2026, its third consecutive year. The upscale, dress-code-required, table service restaurant serves elevated cuisine.

Leadership at Victoria & Albert’s includes Israel Pérez, who has led the restaurant’s front-of-house team as maître d’hôtel since 2004; Chef de Cuisine Miguel Santeliz; Pastry Chef Ally Rogers; Executive Chef Matthew Sowers; and Culinary Director Chef Scott Hunnel.
When MICHELIN Guide first awarded the Star to Victoria & Albert’s in 2024, they called the restaurant a “three-hour waltz orchestrated by a gracious brigade of veteran servers.” The official remarks went on to say, “Think delicate tarts set with New Zealand langoustine, striking ‘sandwiches’ made with venison carpaccio and red cabbage, and bold sauces like cherry-cola bordelaise. Other details like water lists, an ornate coffee and tea service, and a serious wine program further impress.”
Incidentally, Victoria & Albert’s is also the most expensive restaurant in Disney World. It recently became even pricier, raising the minimum cost of its prix fixe menu to $375, an increase of $80 from its previous price.
Guests must be at least 10 years old to dine at Victoria & Albert’s. Of the dress code, Disney says, “Guests are expected to dress accordingly in semi-formal/formal attire that respects the restaurant’s elegant and opulent aesthetic.”
