You may have seen a popular Walt Disney World ice cream snack pop up on your For You page recently and wondered where to find it. We recently tried this for the first time, and it really is as good as people say. In response to demand for this popular snack, Disney management teams made a change to its availability.
This viral ice cream treat at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is now sold at multiple locations within the theme park. Keep reading to see where and for our take on whether the hype is worth it. Mickey Visit brings you the latest Disney news and planning resources, including sweeping changes coming to Disney World’s app and new rules on Disney Cruise Line sailings.

The $8.29 treat, which is eligible as a snack on the Disney Dining Plan, is made of stacked layers of brownie, vanilla ice cream, and edible cookie dough, topped with chocolate chips.
When we recently tried it, we thought it definitely lived up to the type, and it got even better when it melted a little bit and warmed up, as the first bite caused some brain freeze.
Initially, Disney launched the Cookie Dough Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich at Terra Treats, a snack window on Discovery Island, near Starbucks and just before crossing the bridge into the park’s Africa area. At Terra Treats, word of mouth about the snack grew fast, and the line often extends toward Africa.

Disney now serves the Cookie Dough Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich at an additional location. Guests can still purchase it at Terra Treats, but they can also now find it at a snack cart located outside of the Island Mercantile gift shop. When entering the park, having just emerged from The Oasis, this cart is immediately on your left after crossing the bridge onto Discovery Island.
Mobile order is not available at Terra Treats or the snack cart.
See this map for where to find the Cookie Dough Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich’s two locations at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Terra Treats is at the top, and the snack cart is at the bottom.
The sandwich being served at an additional snack cart may ease some of the line at Terra Treats, and it also shows that Disney is flexible to try out different spots for this viral favorite, rather than wanting it to be something signature that Terra Treats, and only Terra Treats, is known for.
Depending on how guests respond to this expanded availability, I wouldn’t be surprised if the sandwich shows up at other ice cream carts in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, or possibly other Disney World theme parks. It may become a perennial treat, like the Premium Mickey Mouse ice cream bar. I also wonder if Disney would test it at a dining location that offers mobile ordering.
WDWNT first reported the new location availability.
