Last year marked the first time a U.S. theme park received a MICHELIN Star rating. According to the Michelin Guide, “one MICHELIN Star is awarded to restaurants using top quality ingredients, where dishes with distinct flavours are prepared to a consistently high standard.”
Walt Disney World’s fanciest restaurant was the first to be awarded this groundbreaking honor for a U.S. theme park dining location and has now retained the award for a second year in a row!

Victoria & Albert’s Receives MICHELIN Star Rating
Victoria & Albert’s is the premiere restaurant at Walt Disney World Resort located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Hotel & Spa. It has received many awards over the years including the AAA Five Diamond Award each year since 2000 and the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Award.
Victoria & Albert’s has been providing a signature dining experience for over 20 years and offers a multi-course dining experience which features curated menus with premium ingredients sources from around the world. Guests are served a wide range of courses that are all inspired by the culinary’s team’s travels, backgrounds, and personal connections.
Last year Victoria & Albert’s was the first U.S. theme park restaurant to ever be awarded a MICHELIN Star and has retained their MICHELIN Star rating for 2025.
According to Chef de Cuisine and Walt Disney Legacy Award Winner Matthew Sowers, “We use the freshest seafood and highest quality meat from across the globe as the base of our dishes. For example, the Glacier 51 Toothfish on the current menu can only be found in the Arctic more than one mile under the ocean’s surface.” He elaborated on how this approach is taken from the philosophy of how the “ingredients drive the menu” and creates an experience where timeless traditions blend with culinary artistry.
