Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort Campsite Types
Within the 800 campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, there are five different types to choose from. The available options include Tent or Pop-Up Campsite, Full Hook-Up Campsite, Preferred Campsite, Premium Campsite, or Premium Meadow Campsite. All of these campsites come with the standard Walt Disney World Resort hotel amenities and recreation, such as pools, dining options, transportation, and Early Theme Park Entry.
Additionally, all of the campsites are equipped with a charcoal grill, cold water tap, a picnic table, privacy landscaping, safe-deposit box (upon request), television and electrical hookups, and WiFi.
Tent or Pop-Up Campsites have room for a pop-up camper or a camper van-type vehicle and up to 2 tents on a 10ft x 25ft concrete pad.

Full Hook-Up Campsites have room for an RV plus a tent on a 10ft x 50ft concrete pad and are equipped with a sewage hook-up.
Preferred Campsites have room for an RV plus a small tent on a 10ft x 45ft concrete pad. These sites have a sewage hook-up and are close to the marina.
Premium Campsites have room for a larger style RV on an 18ft x 60ft concrete pad. They are also equipped with sewage hookup.
Premium Meadow Campsites also have room for a larger style RV on an 18ft by 60ft concrete pad. They have a sewage hook-up and are in close proximity to Meadow Trading Post, the Meadow Recreation area, Bike Barn, and the campfire area.
All of the campsites have views of the woods and sleep up to 10 adults. However, in 2026, the campsites will only allow up to 8 adults.

These prices fluctuate throughout the year. The lowest prices are seen during the slower times of the year, while the higher prices are generally around holidays and holiday weekends. The most expensive nightly costs are around winter holidays.

There are multiple dining locations for Guests of The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort to enjoy. The resort offers a wide variety of grub, from snacks, to quick-service meals, full-service meals, and a special musical revue.
- The Chuck Wagon – Located near Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long, this camper serves up a number of quick-service snacks. Guests can purchase a s’more kit for the campfire, a hot dog, chips, Mickey-shaped Pretzel, and more. Wine, Beer, and Cocktails are also available.
- Crockett’s Tavern – Sit and enjoy a drink in this lounge or get a drink to go from the walk-up window. Crockett’s Tavern serves up Cocktails, Beer, Wine, and a variety of non-alcoholic beverages. Light bites, such as Sliders, Sandwiches, and a Charcuterie Board are also available.
- Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue – Enjoy dinner and a show at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. Guests are served a hearty all-you-care-to-enjoy meal, while the Pioneer Hall Players put on a delightful musical performance.
- Meadow Snack Bar – Located near the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool, this walk-up counter-service restaurant provides light meals, snacks, and drinks.

From Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Guests can use the monorail to visit Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The monorail can also be taken to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.
Those wishing to visit other Walt Disney World Resort hotels can do so by taking a bus to Disney Springs. Once there, Guests will need to transfer over to the bus of their desired resort.
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort Pools
There are two pool areas at The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort – Meadow Swimmin’ Pool and Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool.
Meadow Swimmin’ Pool is the main pool of the resort and it has something for everyone to enjoy. Little ones can spend time in the fort-themed water play area, where they can splash around in water and slide down miniature water slides. More experienced swimmers can slide into the larger pool on the 67-foot long corkscrew waterslide. Those looking for a more relaxing time can head over to the whirlpool spa.
For a more peaceful experience, Guests can visit the Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool, the resort’s leisure pool. Away from the noise, Guests of all ages can enjoy the more serene atmosphere that this pool area provides.
