1. Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe

The Jolly Holiday Bakery Café is located at the end of Main Street in Disneyland. Not only is this a great breakfast, lunch, and dinner option but they offer some great coffee drinks. This Mary Poppins-themed eatery offers fresh baked goods, coffee and tea.

Guests can order single or double espresso, Cappuccino, hot or iced Caffé Latte and Caffé Mocha. Coffee lovers can also enjoy blended coffee drinks, such as a Blended Mocha, as well as hot and iced Caramel Macchiatos. The café also features hot chocolate, Abuelita which is a Mexican hot chocolate, hot and iced tea.

Want a delicious pastry with your coffee? The Jolly Holiday Bakery Café offers tasty treats such as the Raspberry Rose Mickey Macaron, Matterhorn Macaroon, cookies and muffins. The café has a large patio seating area with lots of shade for guests to enjoy their coffee and people watch.

I remember being so excited when a Starbucks opened in Disneyland. The Market House is located on Main Street, U.S.A. across from the Carnation Café and serves Starbucks signature beverages. Guests can order most Starbucks beverages here along with delicious artisan breakfast sandwiches, and a wide selection of baked goods such as cookies and brownies.

Coffee lovers can order their favorite Starbucks drinks, such as Caffé Mocha, Caffè Latte, Caffè Americano, Caramel Macchiato, Frappuccino, Starbucks Refreshers, and Starbucks Cold Brew Coffee. Tea lovers can purchase hot or iced Teavana Tea, Chai Tea Latte, Matcha Green Tea Latte, and Tea Infusion.

This is also a great place to purchase Disney Starbucks merchandise such as cold drink tumblers and coffee mugs. The seating area inside is pretty limited but there are tables outside. Guests should note that they cannot pay for purchases with the Starbucks App or gift cards at this location.

3. Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe in Disney California Adventure Park

Fiddler, Fifer, and Practical Cafe

The Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Café is Disney California Adventure Park’s version of Starbucks. This coffee shop is located on Buena Vista Street at the circle after you enter the park. The Café sells Starbucks beverages, pastry and breakfast sandwiches. This is also a great place to buy a Starbuck’s grab-and-go sandwich.

The Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Café has a large indoor seating area where guests can enjoy their coffee and treats.  There is also a good size outdoor seating area. Guests should note that they cannot pay for purchases with the Starbucks App or gift cards at this location.

4. Schmoozies! in Disney California Adventure Park

Schmoozies! location at night in California Adventure

Schmoozies! which is located in Hollywood Land isn’t just known for their smoothies.  This counter-service quick stop also offers several coffee drinks. Guests can enjoy single or double Espresso, Caffé Mocha, Caffé Latte, Cappuccino, along with hot or iced coffee.

Non-coffee drinkers can purchase hot tea or hot cocoa.  The adventurous coffee drinker can try a Affogato, which is vanilla Ice Cream topped with Espresso! Those with a sweet tooth can purchase a Mickey or Minnie Donut with filling. Schmoozies! is close to a large outdoor shaded area where guests can enjoy their drinks.

5. Starbucks in Downtown Disney

Starbucks Coffee location in Downtown Disney

The Starbucks by World of Disney is one of the most beautiful coffee shops that I have ever visited. Guests can enjoy a modern rustic setting that features an innovative Clover Bar with rare and exotic Starbucks Reserve coffees. This Starbucks offers some indoor seating as well as a relaxing shaded patio. We have sat on the patio several times where a Starbucks employee was walking around taking orders and offering table service. This Starbucks does accept mobile orders – just make sure you’re sending your order to the correct Starbucks as there are two locations in Downtown Disney. You can also pay for your purchases using the Starbucks App or gift card.

6. The Coffee House at the Disneyland Hotel

Coffee House at the Disneyland Hotel

The Coffee House is located by the pool area in the Disneyland Hotel. This is a great place to pop in and purchase freshly brewed espressos, lattes and coffee specialties. The little shop sells coffee, single and double Espresso, Caffè Americano, Cappuccino, and hot, iced or blended Caffè Latte and Caffè Mocha. I really like their cold brew coffee.  Guests can also enjoy the non-Alcoholic Irish Cream Frappé, or the Baileys Frappé and Kahlúa Frappé which do contain alcohol.

The Coffee House does not offer indoor seating, but there are a few tables outside for folks looking to enjoy coffee at Disneyland. For those looking for a snack with their coffee, the Coffee House sells bagels, croissants, muffins, and cookies. This isn’t coffee-related, but guests can also purchase Pineapple Dole Whips here!

7. Hearthstone Lounge at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa

Grand Californian Hotel places to get coffee

The Hearthstone Lounge is set in the magnificent lobby of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa. Guests can curl up by the cozy fireplace and enjoy a delicious cup of Joffrey's Coffee with a pastry. This hotel is a quick stop walking through Downtown Disney making it a great place to get coffee at Disneyland.

The bar also features an extensive beer, wine and cocktail menu along with appetizers and pizzas. Guests over 21 can enjoy a Cold Brew XO, which includes Patrón XO Cafe Coffee Liqueur, Heavy Cream and Cold Brew Joffrey's Coffee.

  1. After a 5 night stay at the Grand Californian just last week, I discovered the hard way that the Hearthstone Lounge is no longer open early for coffee at 6:00 am as it ALWAYS had been. They’re now directing guests to Craftsman Grill (formerly known as Whitewater Snacks) for complimentary drip coffee until the Craftsman Bar unofficially opens (for coffee and drinks only) at 9:00 am. So if one would like an espresso-type early morning option (or perhaps a Bloody Mary) it seems room service is now the only in-hotel option. This very much disrupts my own personal early morning routine I’ve had for YEARS.

    • Thank you for the heads up Scott! That is very good information. I guess the nearest Disneyland coffee options would be either the Starbucks inside Disney California Adventure or in Downtown Disney.
