There are two Disneyland quick service restaurants that stand above the rest for me and end up being frequent stops on trips. They both offer delicious, healthier food for an affordable price.
We break down our rankings of the Mickey Visit Best Disneyland Restaurants, which looks at all of the top dining offerings across the resort. Of all the quick service restaurants that make the list, these are the two that I end up stopping at the most on my trip.

My Favorite Best Disneyland Quick Service Restaurants
One of these restaurants is located in Disney California Adventure, and one is in Disneyland Park. First, the restaurant in Disney California Adventure.
My family has enjoyed this restaurant since even before the recent transformation of the area that completely changed the menu offerings here but kept the restaurant name the same. That best quick service is…
Lucky Fortune Cookery
Lucky Fortune Cookery is located in San Fransokyo Square, the Big Hero 6-themed area in Disney California Adventure, and now serves Yaki Udon with mushrooms, sugar snap peas, roasted red peppers, bok choy, dark soy, and hoisin sauces.
Their Karaage-inspired crispy chicken is also delicious and great as an addition to the sandwich.
My go-to order here is the vegetable Yaki Udon, add chicken. The bowl is filled with vegetables and noodles. I love the sugar snap peas.
The chicken is also available as a sandwich that comes with garlic puff chips. These aren’t anything that worthwhile, and I typically opt for the udon rather than the sandwich for that reason.
You’ll also find the very cute Baymax Macaron available here. This is definitely a place to use Disneyland Mobile Order to avoid the wait. Even if you use mobile order, be aware that the food preparation time here usually takes a little bit longer and that there’s often a line at the pickup window to get your food.
The only points off I have for this restaurant are that the San Fransokyo Square dining area gets very hectic and crowded pretty much from the beginning of lunch all the way into late evening, with a small break in the mid-afternoon between meals. My top tip to avoid this is to take your food around the corner into Cars Land at the tables at our least favorite quick service restaurant, where there are typically far fewer people.
Next up is my overall favorite Disneyland quick service restaurant.
Bengal BBQ
Bengal BBQ at Disneyland offers up meat and vegetable skewers cooked right at the stand. There are also a limited number of plate options and occasionally other limited-time dishes. See details on a recent favorite limited-time offering here and a popular new item that has been added to the menu as part of Disneyland’s 70th anniversary foods. You can find the restaurant located in Adventureland just across from Indiana Jones Adventure.
The top skewers include the Bengal Skewer (beef skewer in a sweet Zulu sauce), Chieftain Chicken (chicken skewer in a Polynesian sauce), Outback Vegetable Skewer (skewered fresh vegetables), and Safari Skewer (featuring bacon and asparagus).
The skewers here provide a ton of flavor and protein for the price. Often times I will end up eating a small snack for breakfast before Disneyland if I am not staying at a hotel near Disneyland with free breakfast and end up having to wait to eat until the first restaurants are opening at Disneyland. While I could opt for breakfast at Jolly Holiday, many times I choose to order Bengal BBQ to start the day.
For those who eat meat, two or three skewers are a perfect way to get a big boost of protein that will fuel you for far longer than some of the other bready-er options available at many other quick service restaurants in the parks. The grilled vegetable skewer is also delicious and a perfect option for those looking for a more substantial helping of greens. The bacon and asparagus skewer is definitely a little bit less healthy, but no less satisfying.
The beef skewer is SOO good with the sweet marinade, as is the great chicken option.
You can also opt to make these into a meal with an option to order a plate that includes rice in addition to these skewers.
For a multi-day Disneyland trip, I find a stop here is a great way to fit in some vegetables without feeling like you are forcing them. This is a must-stop for me.

Find seating in the covered market section next door that’s a themed extension of the Adventureland Bazaar.
I am writing this while catching up on writing during a long flight home from Walt Disney World in quick succession after writing about my favorite secret place for breakfast at Disneyland. It’s amazing to recognize how unique both of these restaurants are to Disneyland specifically. Both focus on food quality and deliver high-quality food in a quick service setting. After a week of Disney World options that are generally more bland and greasy, it makes the restaurant options that I just finished writing about are even more notable.
