Parking at Hollywood Studios
To get to the Hollywood Studios parking lot, you’ll need to enter the address of the Hollywood Studios Toll Plaza into your GPS. The Toll Plaza is where you will let a Cast Member know which type of parking you’d like and pay your parking fee.
Hollywood Studios Toll Plaza Address: Hollywood Studios Entrance, Kissimme, FL 34747
While the Hollywood Studios theme park has set operating hours, the Hollywood Studios parking lot does not. Even so, you can count on the parking lot opening up about 60 minutes before the theme park opens for the day. Make sure to check the Hollywood Studios park hours for the day of your visit.
Different Hollywood Studios Parking Types & Prices
There are four different parking types at Hollywood Studios: Standard Parking, Medical Parking, Preferred Parking, and Oversized Vehicle Parking.
Hollywood Studios Parking Types
- Standard Parking $30 – Standard Parking is the base level parking at Hollywood Studios. This is the general parking that you will automatically be given unless otherwise noted. The Standard Parking area is reserved for regular sized vehicles (cars, SUVs, minivans, pickup trucks, etc.) as well as motorcycles.
- Medical Parking $30 – The Medical Parking area in the Hollywood Studios parking lot is reserved for Guests with disabilities. This includes Guests who are traveling with personal wheelchairs, electric scooters, or other mobility devices. This section is at the very front of the parking lot and is closest to the park entrance. In order to park in Medical Parking, Guests need to have a valid disability parking permit.
- Preferred Parking $45, $50, $55 – Preferred Parking is an upgrade from the Standard Parking. The Preferred Parking area is the next closest area to the front of the Hollywood Studios parking lot, after Medical Parking. The price for Preferred Parking varies, depending on the date. This type of parking is also reserved for regular sized vehicles and motorcycles.
- Oversized Vehicle Parking $35 – The Oversized Vehicle Parking area is reserved for oversized vehicles. Examples of oversized vehicles are shuttles, limos, camper trailers, RVs, buses, and tractor trailers.
When you pay to park, this not only grants you access to the Hollywood Studios parking lot, but also the parking lots at the other theme parks as well. If you plan on Park Hopping, you will not be required to pay to park at the other theme park(s) that you hop to.
Charging Electric Vehicles at Hollywood Studios
In the Hollywood Studios parking lot, there is a select number of charging stations for those who drive electric vehicles. In the front of the Mickey section in the Hollywood Studios parking lot, there are 4 ChargePoint charging stations.
Guests using these stations will not only pay their parking fee, but will also pay to charge their car battery. The service cost is $0.35 per kilowatt ($1.50 minimum). To pay, Guests will need a credit card or a pre-ordered ChargePoint card. ChargePoint cards can be pre-ordered at chargepoint.com.
Charging will stop automatically when your car battery is full. When this occurs, ChargePoint will “ping” you to alert you that charging is complete.

Is Preferred Parking at Hollywood Studios Worth It?
The Hollywood Studios parking lot is located right outside of the theme park. This makes it extremely easy to get to and from the park no matter where your spot is located.
When deciding if Hollywood Studios Preferred Parking is worth it for you, you’ll need to decide if it’s worth it to pay the price difference. If you want guaranteed parking at the front of the lot, then you may want to get Preferred Parking. However, if you arrive early enough in the day, there’s a good chance that you’ll be able to park closer to the front in the Standard Parking area.
If you arrive later, and notice that the lot is pretty full, keep in mind that there are trams in the Hollywood Studios parking lot. Even if you do end up parking in a space that's further back in the lot, you can ride the tram to the front instead of walking that distance.
Due to the location of the parking lot and the tram services that are available, I don't personally think that it's worth it to pay for Preferred Parking at Hollywood Studios. I’d much rather save the $15-$25 and spend is elsewhere in Hollywood Studios!
Remembering Where You Parked
The Hollywood Studios parking lot is divided into 5 sections: Minnie (Medical Parking and Preferred Parking), Mickey, Olaf, Buzz, and Jessie. When arriving at the lot, Cast Members will direct you to a specific section. You will not be able to pick which one you park in. Unless, of course, you’re parking in the Medical or Preferred parking areas.
Sometimes it can be hard to remember where you’ve parked. Especially with how full the Hollywood Studios parking lot can get. One way to remember where you parked is by taking a picture. Each section of the parking lot is marked with signs. The signs will have the name of your section’s character, a picture of the character, and row numbers. After you’ve parked your car, simply take a picture of the sign that’s closest to your parking spot. Then, when you’re ready to head back to your car, you can simply refer back to the picture for your parking information.
While this method is useful, there’s a more technologically advanced way to keep track of your parking info in the My Disney Experience app!
Hollywood Studios Car Locator
On the My Disney Experience app, there is a Car Locator service. Car Locator uses your phone’s Location Services to keep track of your parking information.
How to Use Car Locator
- Once you've parked your vehicle, you will open the My Disney Experience app and select Car Locator. You will be able to find Car Locator on the home screen or by clicking the menu (☰).
- You will then manually enter your parking information. If your Location Services are enabled on your phone, Car Locator will automatically help fill in this information. Once your parking information is entered, you’re ready to go enjoy your day at Hollywood Studios!
- When you’re ready to return to your vehicle, you will go back to the My Disney Experience app and open Car Locator to view your parking info. If you have Notifications enabled on your phone, Car Locator will also send you reminders about your parking space.
