Disney has followed a fairly predictable pattern when it comes to annual ticket price increases, making it possible to predict when the next increase could happen. In recent years, both Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort have seen ticket price increases around similar times of year.

With another potential increase in a couple of weeks, now is the time for guests planning an upcoming trip to consider purchasing their tickets early. Below, we’re breaking down when we expect the next Disneyland and Walt Disney World ticket price increases could happen, along with the best ways to save on tickets before prices go up. Disneyland Usually Increases Ticket Prices in Fall

Disneyland and Walt Disney World raise ticket prices each year, so this is more of a certainty than just an assumption. That is why it is so important to lock in your tickets now before these increases go into effect. That said, we do not have confirmation on specifics of this increase yet.

Last year, Disneyland announced a price increase on Disneyland tickets, Magic Key passes, parking, and Lightning Lane Multi Pass on October 8, 2025. In 2024, Disneyland increased the cost of Disneyland tickets, Magic Key passes, and Lightning Lane Multi Pass on October 8, 2024.

For Disneyland, our travel partner Get Away Today often gets to keep selling their exclusive lower prices for a limited time (typically around a week) once an increase is announced, but this is NEVER guaranteed. This is why we recommend you lock in your prices NOW. In fact, this year, there is more potential that they will NOT be able to keep the lower price after the price increase announcement.

They are currently offering a screaming good deal for visiting the parks. They are offering adult tickets at kids’ prices and a $50 off bundle and save deal when you book a hotel and tickets. These are good for all of 2027 travel.

Reminder that you do not need to know your dates for your Disneyland ticket to book multi-day tickets with our travel partner. There is a requirement to add in a date, but that is just for an email reminder, and it can be changed in the future. Click here NOW to save big on tickets!

historical prices from 2015-2025 for Disneyland 1 Park Per Day ticket type

You can see in the chart above how ticket prices have increased each year for 1-day tickets. The Disneyland ticket increase trend has shifted from the beginning of each year to October, as we saw in 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025.

Previous ticket increases took place in mid-February in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, January 2019, and February 2020. You can see our tracking of all the historical Disneyland ticket price increases here.

It is uncertain if we will see an increase in 1-day ticket prices since last year Disney was firm on keeping the lowest Tier 0 price at $104 a ticket. The price of the lowest Tier 0 ticket has not been changed since 2019. Last year, Disneyland Public Relations also confirmed with us that they substantially increased the total number of Tier 0 days. We have a look at the total amount of the lowest price ticket dates here.

Disney World Already Increased Prices This Year

Walt Disney World leadership has become more strategic in how ticket price increases are introduced. On April 16, 2026, Disney released 2027 ticket dates through October 31, 2027, and the newly released 2027 dates came with higher peak prices. Magic Kingdom’s peak price went from $209 in 2026 to $219 in 2027, with increases also at the other parks.

Prior to that, Disney World also raised prices on October 8, 2025, the same date as Disneyland increased its prices. Disney World increased prices on 1-day and multi-day tickets, Park Hopper tickets, Annual Passes, parking, and Lightning Lane Multi Pass, while also introducing higher prices for newly released 2026 ticket dates. We expect this to happen again this year on the same date as the Disneyland dates.

Our Disney Ticket Increase Prediction

magic kingdom

The last two increases took place on a Tuesday and Wednesday. Our prediction for this 2026 round of price increases, especially for Disneyland, is that they will happen on Tuesday, October 6 or Wednesday, October 7, 2026 with a stronger leaning toward October 7. We can also assume the next increase will include a higher round of prices for the remaining 2027 Disney World dates, as November and December 2027 prices haven’t been revealed yet.

Regardless of what the exact day the price increase falls on, it will likely be within this timeframe in October. A Disneyland price increase has happened in the first half of October for the last four years. Disney World previously delayed a price increase during an intense hurricane in the area. That is always a factor on if they are rolled out on the same day.

The best way to save money on Disney tickets before they increase in price is to purchase them in advance of your trip, especially when we know an increase is coming in October. Our travel partner, Get Away Today, offers our readers special discounted tickets that beat out all the competitors’ ticket prices, but you NEED to use our exclusive link to see those prices. BOOK NOW >

You do not need to know your dates either, so you can purchase far in advance! They will ask for them at checkout, but these are just to send reminder emails. If you plan on visiting Disneyland, you need to lock in your ticket prices as soon as possible before we see a Disneyland October ticket increase.
