Disneyland beignets are one of the most iconic Disneyland foods that we love. These delicious fried dough snacks come dipped in powdered sugar and many of them are even Mickey shaped. But did you know that there are many different types of Disneyland beignets including seasonal flavors?

There are so many food options at Disneyland from all the available food options including sit down dining and the best quick service restaurants. Breakfast at Disneyland also offers a few great choices like grab and go options in the park and character dining experiences.

We visit Disneyland every week and we have tried every type of Disneyland beignet at the resort including the ones in Downtown Disney! Below we share where to find all these iconic Disneyland beignets and our ranking of the best Disneyland beignet.

Mint Julep Bar

Disneyland beignets

The Mint Julep Bar is the number one most iconic location to find Mickey shaped beignets in Disneyland. This grab and go location serves the classic Mickey shaped beignets dipped in powdered sugar.

And just like the name suggests, this location also offers Mint Juleps which go perfectly with Mickey beignets. There's no better combination than a Mickey beignet and a Mint Julep.

This is the most popular location to get Mickey beignets in Disneyland so you can expect long lines for this location that sometimes wind all the way through New Orleans Square. The best way to get Mickey shaped beignets at Mint Julep Bar is use mobile order. But this isn't necessarily a secret at Disneyland anymore and on busy times of the year you can see mobile order spots run out for the Mint Julep Bar. I recommend selecting your mobile order window right when the park opens and plan it into your day so you can get your Mickey beignets without a long wait.

Tiana's Palace

Tianas Palace Beignet

Tiana's Palace is the newest location to offer beignets at Disneyland but these are far different than the other beignets around the resort. These beignets are much sweeter and they are not Mickey shaped.

Tiana's Palace beignets are housed-filled with Lemon Ice Box Pie filling and topped with a lemon glaze. These beignets are far sweeter than the beignets found over at Mint Julep Bar. If you love tarte desserts, this is a great beignet choice.

For folks that aren't the biggest fan of sweets, this might be a bit too rich for your liking. This is the sweetest beignet offered at Disneyland with the combination of filling and lemon glaze.

Beignets Expressed

Beignets Expressed is a location in Downtown Disney adjacent to Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill and Patio serving a variety of beignets. Beignets Expressed serves classic beignets that are fried and topped with heaping mounds of powdered sugar that are a fan favorite of many that may find them more authentic than the Disneyland beignets.

Beignets Jazz Kitchen

Beignets Expressed also serves specialty glazed beignets with chocolate icing, sprinkles, and even fruity pebbles on top. Some beignets on the menu include the Bananas Foster made with banana rum, cinnamon-sugar, vanilla bean, and crème anglaise plus a Strawberry Shortcake glazed beignet.

If you are looking for more adventurous beignets, this is the best place to get them!

Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill and Patio

Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio is the main table service restaurant connected to Beignets Expressed. The Jazz Kitchen serves the traditional beignets topped with powdered sugar along with a few of the varieties you can order at Beignets Expressed.

The current menu includes traditional beignets and Bananas Foster Glazed Beignets. There are also the option of Beignet Fries that are served with a chocolate and raspberry dipping sauce.

If you are already planning on a sit down dining experience in Downtown Disney then opting to add beignets as your dessert option at Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio is a good choice. This is a top best Downtown Disney restaurant.

Palm Breeze Bar

mickey beignets

The Palm Breeze bar is a new dining location within the brand-new Disney Vacation Club tower at the Disneyland Hotel. This new restaurant is a fun spot to try out for outdoor dining.

We tried the beignets here (seen above) and were not that impressed. These beignets come with three different dipping sauces inside Mickey-shaped edible holders. We were disappointed that the beignets were too doughy and not soft enough.

We would recommend skipping these Disneyland beignets.

Speciality Disneyland Beignets

Disneyland beignets

The Mint Julep Bar is where most seasonal beignets can be found throughout the year. Past seasonal beignets have included pumpkin spice for Disneyland Halloween and candy cane flavored for Disneyland Christmas.

We've even seen watermelon beignets introduced in the summer months!

Certain special events have also included different Disneyland beignets like the Disneyland After Dark events which have included heart shaped beignets for Disneyland Sweethearts Nite.

Does Walt Disney World Have Beignets?

The only place to find beignets in Walt Disney World is at Disney's Port Orleans- French Quarter resort. These beignets are served at Scat Cat's Club quick service restaurant.

There is a wide variety of beignets offered at this location including Mickey shaped beignets, beignet sundaes and an assortment of dipping sauce to pick from. You can even find Baton Rouge Beignets here which are served with your choice of Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur, Kahlúa Liqueur, or RumChata Liqueur.

This is one of the more popular Walt Disney World moderate hotels and one of the things guests always mention is the quick access to these beignets!

How to Make Mickey Beignets At Home

Beignets at home

Disneyland often releases some of their favorite recipes to make iconic Disneyland treats at home including Mickey beignets! While this recipe won't be exact to the ones found at the Mint Julep Bar, this is a pretty close copycat if you're looking to try these at home.

You can find the Disneyland official beignet recipe on the Disney website.
