Disneyland Sweethearts Nite is a part of the Disneyland After Dark set of events. These are special after-hours events that take place at Disneyland after the park closes filled with exclusive park entertainment, characters, and more. Disneyland Sweethearts Nite often takes place around Valentine's Day at Disneyland focusing on well-known Disney couples. You will see characters at these events that you never see during normal park hours!

Is Disneyland Sweethearts Nite Happening in 2024?
We were getting lots of questions about when and if Disneyland Sweethearts' Nite will return in 2024 after Disneyland recently released all the major events for 2024. Disney stated that the after hours parties will return, saying that “four themed soirées packed with unique entertainment, rare character encounters and distinctive menus of sweet treats and savory snacks” will be back at the parks.
Now, Disney has confirmed the return of Sweethearts' Nite and announced the dates for 2024!

When is 2024 Disneyland Sweethearts Nite?
The 2024 Disneyland Sweethearts' Nite will be returning on Jan. 23, 25, 30, Feb. 1, 6, 8, 12 & 14, 2024, at Disneyland Park for a total of 8 nights.

When Do Disneyland Sweethearts' Nite Tickets Go On Sale?
A limited number of Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts’ Nite tickets will go on pre-sale for Magic Key holders beginning Dec. 12, 2023 (no earlier than 9 a.m. PT) on Disneyland.com. On Dec. 14, 2023 (no earlier than 9 a.m. PT), tickets will go on sale to the general public and are subject to availability.
During the Magic Key Holder pre-sale some reported wait times of a couple of hours, but generally the system handled the volume and there were not any crashing issues like there were during the release of the Oogie Boogie Bash Halloween event last year.
For the general tickets release, we recommend having multiple devices ready to click through to purchase tickets and join the queue. You can purchase the tickets directly on this page. We do anticipate that there will be a queue to purchase tickets to these events. Be prepared to have your laptop open and to monitor the queue. Sweethearts Nite is a very popular After Hours events that many people will want to attend. Make sure to be on at or around 9 am so you don't miss out on tickets.

Disneyland Sweethearts Nite 2024 Entertainment
Disneyland has shared some additional details for what you can look forward to for the 2024 Sweethearts Nite including:
Projections- Throughout the evening guests can look for projections on Main Street, U.S.A., Sleeping Beauty Castle and “it’s a small world.”
Sweethearts’ Nite Royal Cavalcade- A royal cavalcade will feature some of Disney's most favorite Princesses and iconic royal couples.
Royal Ball- A Royal Ball will take place near “it’s a small world” and guests can dance along with princesses, princes and Disney characters.
Our Love Is Out of This World Dance Party- Stitch and Angel will host their very own dance party at the stage in Tomorrowland. Join them throughout the night to dance and sing to some awesome beats!
Unique Photo Ops- Throughout the park, guests can find photo ops to step inside some of Disney’s iconic scenes of love and friendship, including “Lady and the Tramp,” “Tangled,” “Sleeping Beauty,” “Aladdin,” and more.
The Lou-Ray Jazz Club- Guests can enjoy a jazz music dance party near Rivers of America.
Mariachi Divas Amor- Keep your eyes peeled for a roaming group sharing traditional Mexican love songs and exuberant Mariachi music.
Piano Player at Golden Horseshoe- The Piano Player at the Golden Horseshoe will be playing some famous Disney love songs.

Sweetheart Nite Tips & Strategy
After our experience at Sweetheart's Nite, we have the best tips and tricks to get the most out of your evening and see all the offerings.
Mobile Order Early
For locations that offer mobile order, place your order as early as 7AM to avoid waiting in long food lines later. This is a great way to guarantee you get all the exclusive snacks. Make sure to select a pickup time of 8PM or later!
Get Food Before Party Starts
We recommend getting 1-2 food items before 8-9PM before the party stats. This way you can use the 4 hours of party time to focus on the special offerings.
Find Free Roaming Characters-
Guests can find free roaming characters all around the park (more on this below) and take advantage of them for a quick photo and hello!
Do Not Miss Royal Cavalcade and Royal Ball!
The absolute two can-not-miss experiences are the Royal Cavalcade and Royal Ball. Plan to build these two experiences into your evening!
The Royal Cavalcade was beautiful and this was the first year it was included.
The music was fun and the Royal Couples were drawn by horse and carriage through the parade route.
The Royal Ball is a fun and interactive experience! Disney plays love songs and fun upbeat music as the Royal Couples dance.
They will then bring all the guests in to join the dance and dance with them. This unique experience is a must for the night. Plus Lady Tremaine and the Evil Stepsisters are absolutely hilarious in this!
Low Ride Wait Times
Like most special events, attractions will have extremely low wait times. This is a great chance to enjoy rides with no wait. But this is a tough choice to make as you only have so much time to enjoy the special event.
NEW-Toontown Open
This year included Toontown in the event which is a change from previous years! Guests can meet Chip n Dale and Clarice.
Magic Key Patch
There is a Magic Key patch available while supplies last on Big Thunder trail, if you are a Magic Key holder then don't miss it!
What Does a Disneyland Sweethearts Nite Ticket Include?
A ticket to Sweethearts Nite at Disneyland includes early admission to Disneyland before the party starts. Admission for party guests into the park begins as early as 6 p.m. PT. No park reservations are required! To get the most value out of your event ticket, plan on showing up at the parks at 6 p.m. so you can enjoy Disneyland before the event gets started at 9 p.m. Most Disneyland After Dark events take place until 1 a.m.
A ticket to Disneyland Sweethearts Nite includes a full lineup of exclusive park entertainment that only party guests get to enjoy. Disneyland After Dark events also include unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass Photos for event photos and commemorative keepsakes.
An event ticket also includes full access to the rides in Disneyland. Nearly all the rides in the park are open and often have no wait times. There is so much to do during the Disneyland After Dark events so many guests do not spend time riding attractions which means the rides are nearly all walk-ons.

For guests who love meeting unique characters, Disneyland Sweethearts Nite will include rare character meet and greets that are unique to the event along with classic favorites.

Photo Ops
Photo ops are also available throughout the parks so guests can take photos. This scenic picnic photo op is located in Toontown.
You can find a Kiss the Girl scene near Finding Nemo Submarine.
The UP! House is located in Town Square.
The other 2024 Disney Sweethearts Nite photo ops include romantic scenes from Disney films, including Lady and the Tramp, Tangled, Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin, and more.
Sweethearts Nite Exclusive Park Food
Certain dining locations will be open during Disneyland Sweethearts Nite and be offering their regular menu along with event-specific themed food. We tried the Adorable Pink Heart Slush and Me and U-Bae Beignets during the evening.
The Adorable Pink Heart Slush is a frozen sprite mixed with grenadine topped with a maraschino cherry. This was very sweet and we could only finish half of it. This one is probably a skip!
We also tried the Me and U-Bae Beignets, heart-shaped beignets with Ube powdered sugar and vanilla ube sauce. These were absolutely delicious, not overly sweet and we really enjoyed them. But fair warning, your mouth will be purple!
As part of the Valentine's Day food guide, Disneyland shared a look at some of the foods guests can look forward to for Sweethearts' Nite. Here are some of the items that will be featured:

This dining package is inspired by one of the most memorable scenes in Lady and the Tramp – the romantic spaghetti dinner shared by Lady and Tramp.

- Choice of One Beverage: One 20-ounce Fountain Beverage or one 20-ounce Dasani® Water
