Disneyland Ride With Secret Guest Book

secret guest book Disneyland

This secret guest book can be found in Fantasyland at Storybook Land Canal Boats, an attraction that takes you on an open-air boat ride through the mouth of Monstro the Whale into a land of miniature models of iconic locations from Disney movies.

As your guide tells you the story behind each location, you'll see sights like Arendelle and Elsa’s ice palace from Frozen, the royal city of Agrabah and Cave of Wonders from Aladdin, the Cottage of the Dwarfs from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and more on this whimsical journey.

While the attraction is an underrated gem in itself, this is also where you can find the secret guest book. In the mornings, a Cast Member brings out a book to the queue, referred to as the “Captain's Log,” that is reserved for the first party of guests of the day to sign.

If you are the first person in the queue for the ride, you get to sign your name in the book containing the signatures of the other first riders of the attraction before you. This is such a cool secret experience you can participate in and a fun detail of this Fantasyland ride!

Storybook Land Canal Boats

In the age of social media, little trends like these have blown up as unique things to do. They have kind of become part of the magic that Cast Members get to make. Little things like this give Cast Members something to take pride in at their location and a unique way to bring a smile to guests' faces.

You can see this TikTok video from la.dreaming showing the process of signing the book as the first guest of the day:

@la.dreaming The first guests in line at Storybook Land Canal Boats get to sign the captains log. What a fun way to start off your day. We had early entry as hotel guests. At 7:30 could go to Fantasyland. This attraction opens with the park at 8am. #disneyland #disneylandattractions #disneylandpark #disneylandcalifornia #disneylandanaheim #disneylandtips #disneylandtipsandtricks #disneylandwithkids #disneylandmagic #disneymagicmoments #disneylandtiktok #disneylandsecrets #disneylandrides #disneylandfantasyland #disneylandresort â™Ĵ Let's Go To Disney – Fairview

As mentioned by la.dreaming in the caption, the attraction starts operating at the park's official opening time at 8 am, but keep in mind that Early Entry guests can access the Fantasyland area before that time and poise to be the first guests in line.

For your best shot at signing the Storybook Land Canal Boats book, we recommend being one of the first there for rope drop and heading straight to the attraction. Even if you don't get the honor of being the guest to sign the book for the day, you can still utilize this time to ride popular attractions with shorter waits using our Disneyland morning strategy!
