Many restaurants throughout Walt Disney World offer mobile ordering, allowing guests to order their food via their phones before arriving at the dining location. Mobile ordering was recently made much easier by an updated rule. Disney has now implemented another change that many guests will likely welcome.
One of our favorite Disney World dining locations now offers mobile ordering, but only for a specific menu item. Mickey Visit brings you the latest Disney news and planning resources, including Hallmark and Disney extending their partnership and 2 discounts removed from Disney World and Disneyland.

Mobile Order Available at Favorite Animal Kingdom Dining Spot
One of the most relaxing places in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is Nomad Lounge. Just before crossing the bridge from Discovery Island into Pandora – The World of Avatar, Nomad Lounge is located to your right. It’s attached to Tiffins Restaurant, an upscale dining option.

We love how Nomad Lounge feels like a calm escape from the busyness of the rest of the park. Guests sit on plush seating inside the low-lit dining room or on the porch overlooking a river. We always come away from Nomad Lounge inspired by the space’s emphasis on the transformational power of traveling, and we love it even more after its recent menu overhaul.
Nomad Lounge is among the few Disney World dining locations that operate in a gray area categorically, not adhering to the typical protocols of Disney’s quick service or table service restaurants. While a waiter does serve guests directly at their table at Nomad Lounge, the establishment does not offer advance dining reservations. Instead, guests must join a waitlist, which they can do through the My Disney Experience app, but only when they are physically in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Nomad Lounge has typically only offered dine-in service, and hasn’t been eligible for mobile ordering. At select Disney World restaurants, mostly quick service locations, guests can use My Disney Experience to order and pay for their food ahead of their meal.
Effective October 2026, Nomad Lounge now offers mobile ordering, but only for one menu item: churros! Nomad Lounge’s signature mini-churros are smaller than Disney’s usual stick-like churros, and they come with vanilla crema and apple butter for dipping. They’re a highlight of any visit to Nomad Lounge.
Guests can mobile order churros from Nomad Lounge for $11 by searching for “Nomad Lounge To Go” in the My Disney Experience app. Again, churros are the only item available for mobile ordering. Other favorite Nomad Lounge selections, like its chicken wings, naan bread, and drinks, are only available to dine-in guests.

Lounges have become popular throughout Disney World over the past decade, and that may be thanks in large part to Nomad Lounge providing a solid proof of concept. It opened in 2016, and has since been followed by other adult-oriented, relaxing spots in the parks, like GEO-82 at EPCOT, pictured below, and The Diamond Horseshoe Lounge at Magic Kingdom, the latter of which just opened in October 2026 for a limited time. See the full Diamond Horseshoe Lounge menu.
Disney’s lounges sometimes lean into a boisterous theme rather than going for relaxation. This is true of The Beak and Barrel, the Pirates of the Caribbean lounge that opened at Magic Kingdom in 2025, and Hurly-Burly, which was designed as a revived century-old theater and just opened at Disney’s BoardWalk in October 2026.
