Earlier this week, Disney announced a refurbishment for the Rose & Crown Dining Room, saying on Disney World’s website that the restaurant would close on February 15, 2027, and reopen in the spring. Disney also explicitly stated that the Rose & Crown Pub and Yorkshire County Fish Shop would remain open during the Dining Room’s closure period. However, this announcement quickly changed.
The very next day, Disney amended its statement to say the Rose & Crown Dining Room and the Rose & Crown Pub would be closed for refurbishment starting January 11, 2027. They were planned to reopen “later in 2027”. This update also didn’t remain for very long.
The day after that, Disney removed the refurbishment notices altogether, and as of this writing, October 8, 2026, there is no closure announcement publicly posted on the Disney World website for the Rose & Crown Dining Room or the Rose & Crown Pub.
