The newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Disney Believe, sets sail next year, and we now know more about what guests can expect onboard. Disney Cruise Line revealed new details during a livestream today, including the ship’s dining, entertainment, and sailing dates.
The Disney Believe will celebrate characters who “dare to dream and believe in themselves,” with new experiences designed around that theme. We previously got a few hints about what was coming during a scavenger hunt aboard the Disney Wish, but today’s livestream revealed a much closer look at what will make this newest addition to the Wish class different. Mickey Visit brings you the latest Disney news and planning resources, including a misunderstanding about canceling Disney trips and new perks for Disney+ subscribers.

New Encanto Stage Show Coming to Disney Believe

Lin-Manuel Miranda announced to the crowd that, for the first time, Encanto will be adapted for the stage aboard the Disney Believe. The new production will become the ship’s featured stage show, marking the first time the beloved film has been brought to life as a full-scale Disney Cruise Line stage production.
The other show aboard the Disney Believe will be Tangled, which will offer a reimagined set design and special effects exclusive to the new ship. This show is also featured on the Disney Magic and Disney Dream and is one of the most popular stage shows.
The third show will be Disney Seas the Adventure, which is the show for the Wish class featuring beloved Disney and Pixar characters and iconic songs.
New Dining Experiences Coming to the Disney Believe

The Disney Believe will feature multiple new dining and entertainment experiences, many of which were teased throughout the week with the scavenger hunt onboard the Disney Wish. First, we learned the names and themes of the new lounges on the Disney Believe.
The open-air lounge that will be located just off the Grand Hall, themed to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, is called Wishing Well. The bar space will evoke the film’s gothic castle and will feature a beautiful stained glass art piece mimicking the castle windows. The seating area will be inspired by an enchanting castle courtyard under a canopy of white blossoms and red apples, with the furnishings featuring colors from Snow White’s gown. The performance area will offer hand-carved wood framing, paying homage to the Seven Dwarfs’ cottage.

The piano-themed lounge will be called Sea Notes and is inspired by The Little Mermaid. The space will feature an elegant, pearlescent piano and an ocean-inspired atmosphere. The lounge will feature nods to the film and the movie’s ocean setting along with nostalgic melodies.

Skygazers is the name of the pub on the Disney Believe, imagined as a “magical observatory-themed pub, dreamers and wish-makers will gather beneath the story-filled evening sky.”
While not new, but arguably one of the most popular lounges, it was revealed that the Haunted Mansion Parlor will also be a part of the lounge offerings and will serve a new selection of drinks.

We learned that Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast will be one of the ship’s main dining restaurants, offering a “Frozen-inspired family feast.” Tucked away in a rustic corner of Arendelle, Oaken has set the table for a festive family reunion inside his cozy summer house. The other two main dining restaurants will be 1923 and Worlds of Marvel.

The main entertainment hub on the Disney Believe will be called Gazelle, and the space is inspired by the bustling metropolis from Disney Animation’s “Zootopia” films. And for the first time on Disney Cruise Line, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde from “Zootopia” will lead a new family show to help them solve a case using your own detective skills.

Joyful Sweets will be the sweet shop on the ship inspired by Inside Out 2, offering colorful treats and desserts inspired by the memorable emotions and characters of the movie. The sweet shop will feature more than 20 flavors of gelato and ice cream!
The Disney Believe will also feature two cafés inspired by Moana and Big Hero Six. The first, located by the Grand Hall, will be called Café Kakamora, named after Moana’s “former foes turned friends”, while the other will be called Big Hero Sips.
Disney Believe Staterooms and More Experiences Revealed

We also got a first look at the stateroom themes, which will include rooms inspired by Moana, Coco, and Inside Out.

Guests who are staying in concierge can enjoy themes inspired by Peter Pan, with several special ocean view rooms above the bridge featuring Toy Story.
The first of the royal suites, The Royal Reef Suite, will be themed after The Little Mermaid, and the Royal Rose Suite will be inspired by Beauty and the Beast. Each incorporates elegant designs with nods to both of these classic films scattered throughout.

And, exclusively to the Disney Believe, the Believe Tower Suite is a one-of-a-kind suite that draws inspiration from Magic Kingdom Park.

Each room is modeled after the different themed lands. The two-story suite is located in the forward funnel and also includes fireworks and balloon-inspired light fixtures plus a magical art piece depicting Cinderella Castle.
